Kian stepped out of the vehicle. Outside stood Mayne who had a worried expression.

"You really wanna go?" Mayne asked Kian with uncertainty in his voice.

"Yeah. Keep these." Kian nodded and threw a few crystallized psyche energy to Mayne who caught it agilely.

After that, Kian didn't stay any longer to chat. He wore the same armor and held the same weapon as the Half-Excelcises at the front line. The next moment, he disappeared from his position as if he was sucked out by the air and appeared ten meters away behind a Half-Excelcis much to Mayne's shock.

Kian did this a few times before he was already inside a destroyed fortisian vehicle. He didn't forget to collect their horns before he teleported to another vehicle. He did this a few times before he managed to enter a truck in charge of carrying the wounded back to the ship. Coincidentally, it was headed back carrying with it fortisians who were in critical conditions.

Kian made sure to hide himself as much as possible so no one from inside noticed him.

The truck soon entered the battleship before it stopped. The fortisian medics carried out the patients without noticing that the enemy was already with them.

Kian shot a few waves of invisible waves of psyche energy to the unconscious fortisians, killing them silently. The medics were not aware of what truly happened and we're shocked to find out that the patients they could still save with treatment suddenly died.

He didn't stay to watch the result of his actions and quickly teleported to a room where there were no surveillance cameras and hid himself in a metal container.

Multiple teleportations and constant use of psyche energy not only took a toll on his energy reserves but also to his mind. Thus, he decided to spend an hour recuperating before he resumed his mission of finding the room where the emperor was located. The process of doing so was hard and tiring but he finally did so.

Outside the room where the emperor stayed, two guards with vigilant looks stood. Kian eyed them with a cold look before he shot strong waves of psyche energies to their minds. The next moment, he tried his best to make sure they won't fall to the ground with his psyche energy before he teleported inside the room.

Kian arrived at the top of the room with ventilation pipes. It was a blind spot for both the surveillance cameras and the people below.

When he surveyed the room below, he found out that it was actually the meeting room. Aside from the emperor, there were also three more fortisians inside. His expression couldn't help but change when he saw this scene.

"How is the matter with the Space Crystal?" the emperor said, his voice full of authority as he spoke with his subject.

"Your Majesty, it has been confirmed that the Space Crystal is definitely with this group of humans below. We just need to interrogate them to find out its exact location." One of the fortisians answered respectfully.

"Hmph! This matter had been delayed for more than a year now. Quickly crush their armies and watch out for the fluctusans. Make sure those pale skins don't get it before we do. Dismissed." Emperor Superbia said and closed his eyes.

"Understood." the three fortisians said and left the room.

Kian's eyes lit up. He didn't waste this opportunity and quickly readied his concentration gun and lodged in a crystallized psyche energy before he prepared to aim.

Meanwhile, the emperor was not aware that someone was actually aiming to take his life. He stood up and faced the metal wall behind him.

"Space Crystal. Once we get it, our race will definitely soar to greater heights." He spoke, his voice a bit higher than before.

As he did this, he couldn't help but notice the strange glisten in the wall. It was impossible for it to reflect a light like that since there was only a single source of light inside the room.

"Who's there?" he quickly turned around and disappeared from his position.

The next moment, he was already at the ventilation pipes. His speed was the fastest Kian had witnessed from all the fortisians he had met.

"Crap!" Kian couldn't help but curse and blinked away.

He appeared below and quickly fired a beam of psyche energy. It was met by the bone tail of the emperor which dissipated into a few seconds.

"What?!" Kian was shocked at the sight.

Actually, he was not only the one who was shocked. The emperor was even more shocked than him. If not for the fact that he blocked the beam with his tail which was mostly instead of his body then he would've sustained heavy damages to his mind.

The emperor took a good look at the person below who have shot the attack. To his shock, there wasn't the usual ten eye crystals on the human's forehead. Instead, a black halo as black as the night was present.

Suddenly, his eyes narrowed as his gaze landed upon the multicolored veins on the black crystal halo.

The next moment, his serious expression turned into one of ecstasy and he started laughing. He didn't expect that the thing he had spent all his efforts in locating actually came knocking into his doorsteps.
