17: Dark Clouds

A shark like gauntlet collided with the solid ground. The earth rumbled for a moment before it was followed by a huge shockwave in the form of a shark. It flew towards the sycthe wielding man who tried to block it with his weapon. However, the force shot him upwards to the air and he also received quite a few cuts in his body. Unexpectedly, it the shockwave was quite sharp.

Alexa grinned and shot him a look of contempt which made the enemy a bit irritated. He snorted and swung his scythe which released flashes of red lights.

She tried to the dodge the attacks by jumping away but their sheer numbers made it hard for her to dodge. With a wave of hand, she managed to block a few attacks. The impact however shaved off some of her health points.

"Sub-Tank players like you are really annoying but if that's the extent of your abilties then say goodbye to your life!" His scythe glowed for a second before it became crimson red.

In the next second, he disappeared from his position and appeared behind Alexa. The scythe was near invisibility as it slashed into the air and landed on her back.

"What?" Alexa was wide eyed as she was sent flying. Her eyes slightly shifted to a corner to see her HP gauge now down to half of its totally value.

Another slash came her way just as she landed into the ground. The enemy was grinning from ear to ear as he was about to hack at her once again. However, a cold feeling on the temple of his forehead stopped him from moving. It was a muzzle of a gun.

"Move and I'll blow your head off." Kian's familiar figure materialized behind him. He was pointing his pistol towards the enemy with a grin face.

The scythe wielding man was quite shocked for a moment and stopped his movements. He became quite for a few seconds before he suddenly grinned and swung his scythe in a swivel while creating a emmiting a crimson light.

Kian didn't expect that the enemy would actually attack.  The scythe made a huge cut on his chest, sending him flying to the air and taking away a lot of his health. However, he was not quite willing to let it be like this.

With a slight groan, he fired off multiple Phantom Bullets like a madman. The enemy who managed to dodge the bullets at their first round of exchanges didn't know that this skill can pass through objects.

"How cute." the enemy grinned and used his scythe to block the attacks that came his way. To his disbelief, they passed through the huge scythe and landed on his body.

"You!" It was now his turn to get mad.

The Phantom Bullets ignored armor and directly took away most of his health. It was not enough to discourage him though. However, he felt strangely sluggish and his head hurted for some reason.

Suddenly, a flash of blue light appeared. It brought with it a sharp blow off wind that alarmed him. He was about to dodge but his head was quite disobedient so he wasn't able to dodge.

A fist landed upon his back. He was thrown off to a wall, creating a huge cloud of dust that only settled for a few seconds.

The enemy's face was full of disbelief as he was actually beaten by two noobs. His HP was now down to ten percent. If he fought any further, he would really die.

"Not so tough now, are we?" Kian had a victory smile as he slowly approached the man.

With a click on the trigger, he fired off multiple bullets thst transformed into liquid metal. They surrounded them man and prevented all sorts of way for him to move.
