The group of players were back in Phantasm Forest after the hunting operation.

Inside the largest tents, everyone sat together. A couple of players who were not part of the operation were also present to spectate. This is because the players were now about to try out the effects of the eye crystals.

Vanish played with an eye crystal with his left hand. After getting bored, he took a drink and pocketed the crystal away.

"I thought that since they're aliens, they would be a lot stronger. Turns out they can be taken out with just this." he said, his voice a bit complacent.

"The ones we took out were merely small fries after all." Kian on the side commented.

"But I was expecting more from them. Like a bit more technologically advanced." Vanish said.

"We're a type one and a half civilization civilization while they are barely type two. Moreover, they're refugees from the fourth dimension. How could there be such a big difference between us?" Kian said while thinking that this guy might have watched too many Sci-Fi movies.

"Ohhh... Types of civilizations, huh? What was it again? Krebs cycle?" Vanish asked.

"Kardashev scale." Kian answered with a poker face.

After a short bit of talk, the two separated and met with their respective groups.

The players first held a party before they would start the conversion plan. They didn't know what would happen to them after this. They decided to let loose for a while to get rid of stress. There were even a few duels held that lightened up the mood.

After the party, they settled themselves down. The previous lively atmosphere was gone. It was replaced with a serious one and each of the players looked as if they were ready to go to battle.

On the center of the tents was a table where twenty eye crystals were laid out. Aside from Kian's friends, there would be seventeen more players that will participate in the conversion.

Every single one of them was nervous
They were about to throw away half of their humanities and become Half-Excelcises.

Deep inside, they were still hoping that they could return back to Earth someday. If that ever happened, how would the people there recieve them? This thought made them depressed.

While the players were still hesitating,  Vanish stepped forward and grabbed an eye crystal on the table. He took a hard look on it for a few seconds before he threw it unto his mouth.

A cold feeling assailed his body. At first, if was comfortable but then it slowly became painful. He could help but scream as blue lightning appeared and coiled around his body like a snake.

He lost his balance and fell on his knees. People backed away as the lightning threatened to hit them.

Vanish fullfiled the requirements to become a Half-Excelcis which is to reach a rank similar to cosmage unlike Kian. That's why despite grimacing in pain, he wasn't in grave danger.

Soon, his hair turned silver and blue eye crystals formed on his forehead. The lightning slowly subsided and silence ensued.

Vanish kneeled on the floor, his eyes closed. When they opened, the objects around started to shake lightly. This was a phenomenon brought about by strong psyche energy.

It was obvious that he held a huge amount of stats in his body because even if only half of them were converted into psyche energy stats, he was still this strong.

Vanish clenched his hands slowly. His physical body was not as strong as before. However, his mind was clear and he felt as if he had multiple arms that could reach out everywhere.

He stood up and gave his new powers a try. Hundreds of swords made of psyche energy formed around him.

The players who watched from the side could not help but feel chills that ran down their spines. They knew that if they were ever hit by those psyche energy attacks, their minds would instantly collapse.

The most shocked one was Kian. Vanish just converted but he was already on par with him who converted a few months ago.

"How high were his stats before?" Kain unconsciously took a deep breath.

Vanish retracted the psyche energy swords to his body and body and went to the sides and sat down. He still needed to get used to his newly remodeled body.

The players who saw that nothing bad happened and it even produced a result proceeded with their own conversions.

Kian supervised Alexa, George, and Amy in case something wrong happened with their conversion.

Soon, the player campaign was filled with screams. Blue lightning dragons roamed the area forcing the weaker players to evacuate to safer places.

In the morning, there were already twenty more Half-Excelcises in the camp.

The morale of the players rose and the number of players who were eager to convert increased. They all wanted to leave their days of hiding.

It's really troublesome to transfer the chapters I wrote on a notebook digitally. Until now, it's still blackout in our town. It's almost been a month since it happened. I feel like we're descending into the middle ages. It's also been days and earthquakes kept hitting us 😭😭😭.

Volume Three is already done. I'll slowly transfer them. Sorry for the delays.
