It wasn't long before some of the players finally had red eye crystals. Kian could do nothing more than shake his head and sigh at this turn of events.

He looked for Alexa and the others in this chaotic battlefield. Their eye crystals were still blue to his relief.

With the players that had red eye crystals and Kian's help, the Excelcis army was slowly pushed backed. Despite the human camp's people had clearly dwindled to half of their original numbers.

"Regroup!" Kian commanded to the players.

The originally scattered players gathered and stayed close to each other. Kian then took out an orb from his inventory.

The players around him diffused their psyche energy into the air. The psyche energy then started to roll in the air as they were slowly absorbed by the orb. The object started to change in color. From blue, it became red and then became dark red.

Kian took a deep breath admins threw the orb towards the Excelcis army who started to run away after they guessed the human side's plan.

However, they were not able to run far before the other exploded with bright crimson light. A mushroom cloud formed on the spot and covered everything with dust.

The players backed up with excited expressions. With this weapon, even if the Excelcis survived, they would at least be seriously injured.

They waited for a few minutes before the mushroom cloud totally dispersed. The scene that was revealed to them made their pupils contract and caused a chill to run through their backs.

A reddish transparent barrier covered the Excelcis army. At the front hovered a man with long and spiky black hair. His face was pale and his black robes contributed more to his gloomy atmosphere.

The man only had one eye crystal on his forehead but unlike the normal Excelcis, it was black. No, it wasn't completely black. There were still a few patches of red that appeared from time to time.

His eyes which were void of any whites and were purely black gazed at the players with indifference.

The players who met with eyes felt as if their souls were slowly getting sucked away. Some of the weaker ones felt a sharp pain to their heads as if there were needles poking into them.

Just as Kian was about to move and shoot a test attack to the man, the target was already gone. The next thing he knew, he and the other players were thrown to the air with great force.

The man, who was obviously the Excelcis Emperor stood at their original position.

Kian landed on the ground head first making a pretty terrible sight. He quickly stood up and locked his gaze to the enemy.

He couldn't help but shiver when he remembered that attack. Just a small wave was able to sent them flying and at the same time cause a sharp pain to attack his mind.

The other players also got prepared. They quickly regrouped and launched an all-out attack against the enemy.

Sadly, the attacks all dissipated into fragments of lights after the Excelcis Emperor waved his hand.

He disappeared once again from sight and appeared on the side of a player who had red eye crystals.

The next moment, the player exploded into red particles.

The other layers turned wide-eyed at this scene. It was unbelievable. Such a strong player was taken out just like that.

Fear gripped their hearts and some of the people could not help but take a few steps back.

Kian and the others were not ready to give up yet. They took out their psyche energy weapons and bombarded the enemy with deadly attacks.

Vanish then got close to the emperor and slashed with his sword.

The enemy caught the blade of the sword barehandedly and released a small burst of energy from his hands. The sword quickly started to crack and then exploded into pieces.

Vanish gritted his teeth and his eyes showed madness. He shot a few more attacks before he was thrown away.

The players once again combined their attacks but showed no good result at all. It's as if they were throwing pebbles into the ocean.

The Excelcis Emperor created a barely noticeable red line on the air and shot it towards the group of players that just attacked.

Majority of players that were hit were taken out and served as a nourishment for the gigantic crystal ball.

Unexpectedly, Kian who was thrown away by that attack landed right next to the giant crystal ball. He could see the small faces of the players on their flying eye crystals.

He turned his attention back to the battlefield as he tried to find Alexa and the others. They were on the ground. Thankfully, they were still alive. However, another attack and they would be obliterated.

Jn the distance, the enemy was still carrying out his massacre.

In that desperate moment, Kian's eyes fell into the crystal ball beside him. A crazy thought formed in his head. A determined light could be seen on both of his eyes.
