Every single pair of eyes in the battlefield were wide in shock as their gazes were locked on to the falling battleship that was once awe-inspiring. A huge cloud of dust gathered which was only further strengthened by the multiple explosions that came from the battleship itself.
The sight was so inconceivable that some people couldn't help but take a few steps. As for the fortisians inside the other hand, they were already left pale and trembling in fright. No matter how strong the bodies of their brethren might be, it definitely wouldn't be enough to withstand such a fall not to mention being inside a massive ship.
"This is our chance!" Mayne's eyes lit up. He ordered the Half-Excelcises to attack the still shaken enemies.
With their confidence shaken after such a shocking scene, the fortisians were slowly pushed back until only a few of them were left. As for the fluctusans, they quickly temporarily retreated under orders. It was unknown what was the reason why the fortisian race's battleship fell. For the time being, they didn't want to let any mishaps occur.
As for the perpetrator on the hand, he was already back on the fortress. With his back pressed against the wall, he took a few deep breaths to calm himself down. After that, he teleported to the kitchen and drank a few glasses of water before he went to Mayne's side.
"Shoot all of the attacks at the remaining battleship." Kian simply told him before he went on to teleport as fast as he could towards the escaping fluctusans.
Mayne didn't question Kian's words since he already had an idea what the young man was planning. A few minutes later, a rain of attacks struck the colossal rounded battleship. Although they didn't do much aside from a few dents, it was enough distraction to let Kian silently infiltrate the ship.
When Kian got inside, he felt a massive change in the temperature. It was at least twice as hot as the outside world. In fact, some rooms were even sweltering than the others. Despite Kian's strong body, a few drops of sweat still flowed down his forehead.
"Fluctusans are really walking paper sources." He couldn't help but comment as he changed rooms from time to time.
Half an hour later, he was already outside the room where the council of elders were located. Just a single teleport then he was already one short step away from ending the calamity that had befallen the creatures of Earth.
After he took a deep breath, Kian's eyes turned cold. In an instant, he was already gone from his position.
Inside the room, the seats forming a circular formation was set up. Ten fluctusans of carrying ages were seated upon them with serious expressions as they gazed at the holographic image at the center which showed the outside world.
These ten people were both the strongest and smartest brawns and brains of the fluctusan race. Ten seats formed the council of elders that acted as the supreme rulers of the government.
"Just how could such a thing happen?" one of the elders spoke.
"It seems there's really an expert together with the humans just as we had expected. Still, to do this without no one noticing. It seems they're more dangerous than what we had guessed." another elder that resembled a child said.
"We still got no response from that emperor guy."
"Probably dead."
Kian's eyes narrowed as he listened in to their discussions. As expected from the leaders of the fluctusans who were able to create wondrous machines of war. They aren't as stupid as the fortisian emperor who was just a bit smarter than his counterparts.
"Still, this much wouldn't do to stop me." Kian made sure his breathing was silent before he took out his concentration gun. The enemies were right below him. One shot and they would be dead.
Suddenly, alarms went off inside the room startling not only Kian but also the others inside.
"Intruder!" the fluctusans were instantly alarmed.
Kian himself was shocked that he was discovered. When he looked around he quickly found the reason why. His elbow had actually bumped into one of the sensors.
"What a blunder!" His face showed displeasure.
A few figures hidden in the dark appeared and all came at him. Kian was not able to notice them because their clothes and body heat made them totally blend into the surroundings. Still, he didn't panic.
With a few shots of his gun, the assailants quickly fell to the floor lifeless.
"Don't think you can rampage in here!" one of the elders shouted and shot waves of radiation that could burn normal skin to horrifying degrees.
Kian shot his own attack to resist and also to take down that elder. However, if a task couldn't be performed by one person, seeking help could possibly do, not to mention ten of them.
With multiple people he needed to be careful with, Kian could only be trapped in a passive state as he endured the blast of heat striking his body. Despite this, a sneer still formed on his face.
"Not enough!" He said in a derisive voice and shot an especially concentrated blade of psyche energy towards one of the enemies.
The waves of psyche energy tried to block the attack but it still managed to peirce through although it was shaved off most of its power. The elder thar receievd the attack felt a sharp pain on his head that made him cease his attacks. This gave a chance to strike back.
"We can't keep this going on for too long." One of the elders commented.
From the single chance Kian had to attack, he was able to land a lot of critical damages to them. In fact, an elder had already fallen.
"Right. Let's proceed with that." Upon hearing one of the elder's words, the others nodded their heads.
Kian noticed their discussions and furrowed his eyebrows. He suddenly had a bad feeling. It didn't take too long for him to find out what it was though.
With a huge shake, the room they were currently in separated from the battleship and with a loud boom, it shot off to the skies with a speed that slightly surpassed those of a rocket ship.
Since he was not prepared for this situation, his balance was disturbed and he couldn't help but get thrown away. As for the enemies, their bodies were held down by a machine so they were not as disoriented as him.
It didn't take long with the room which turned into a small spaceship took stop its movements. The huge metallic surfaces that served as a roof moved and folded themselves. What was left was a glass dome that covered half of the entirety of the ship.
Kian's eyes couldn't help but widen. Outer space. He was actually here!
