She was alone

No prompt, just a baby girl sitting on my bed making my imagination run, which is the most exercise I ever get.... 😁

She was alone. Holding her baby girl in her arms. Clutching her, really...close to her chest, soothing her with her heartbeat. She looked around the airport frantically, praying that no one she knew was there. The place was packed, people were everywhere, and she couldn't make out one distinct face in the crowd. Part of her sighed with relief, if she couldn't recognize anyone, then no one would recognize her. But the other part of her was frozen in fear. Just because she couldn't see them didn't mean that they couldn't see her. She found that out the hard way.
Her flight number was called and she rushed to be boarded. It will be safer on the plane, she thought. Less people. Less opportunities to get caught, be found, get seen. By the time she was seated, her baby girl, wrapped in pink, was asleep. Her eyelashes curled against her smooth skin. Her hands were curled up into little balls. Her mouth was agape in a small "o", the perfect pink lips.
But when she looked up, after her heartbeat had calmed down, back to it's steady thumping, she was frozen again.
They surrounded her. Black suits. Black sunglasses. Black briefcases. It was like a funeral. Her funeral. They sat all around her. One in front. One behind. One two rows up and too the left. One three rows back and too the right.
She was done for.
But she also knew that they wouldn't do anything until they landed. A big scene wasn't their forte. So she had the entire flight to be with her baby. Her little girl.
She was prepared for this. She expected this. But she didn't want it to happen so soon.
But she had her letters, which they are required to give to the recipients, if they were family.
One for her mom.
Her dad.
Her sister.
One for him.
And one for her baby girl.
Because mama wasn't going to be around much longer.
No, but she had the rest of the flight to hold her sleeping child. The rest of the flight to memorize every inch of her previous face.
And once she stepped off the plane, she was going to be gone for good.

Okay, so Crystal Kingdoms is coming soon, I promise pandagirl052 and nobody else asked for anything so, yeah, I did this. Does it make sense?
