"Take me on an adventure!" she whispers in his ear. He groans. She is laying on top of him, stomach to stomach, trailing her fingers around his face. He reaches over and grabs the remote, turning the TV off. Then he turns back and bites at her, but she leans back laughing. Then she slides off of him and runs to the hallway to put her shoes on. "Come on!" she squeals, throwing his shoes at him, hitting his knees in the process.
"It's 2AM." he complains. "It's pitch dark out and-"
She pouts, sticking out her bottom lip and making eyes at him. "Please?" She stands on her tip toes and kisses his nose.
He sighs then starts to put his shoes on. "I didn't know marrying you would involve so many spontaneous adventures, my dear."
"You love it."
"Get in the car." he says sweetly, smiling when she jumps up and down. She basically hops everywhere, there's always a bounce in her step.
"Where are we going tonight, princess?" He asks her.
"Anywhere." She replies, walking out the door, skipping to the car.
They end up driving through a small town thirty minutes away from their small apartment. He winds through the street one hand on the wheel, the other holding hers. She stares out the window, fascinated by all the stars. She sings softly to the music, absent mindedly tracing the words into his arm. She's relaxed, one leg tucked underneath her, the other on the dash. She always does that, and he hates it.
"If we get in an accident, you'll break your leg." He says.
She just smiles at him. "You won't crash."
He glances over at her, and ends up staring at her, her eyes, her lips, her cheeks.
"Babe!" She squeals as their world lights up with red. He slams on the breaks, stopping hard. "You almost ran the red light!" she laughs, teasing him.
He lets out a breath. "Time to go home, sweety."
They get home around 4AM with her asleep holding his arm. He gently carries her inside, glad to have a moment like this that doesn't come around too often. She buries her head into his chest and breathes in deeply.
"Mmm. I'm awake." She murmers.
"Bedtime." He insists as she crawls out of his arms.
"No." She smiled sleepily, putting her arms around his neck, bare feet on the kitchen tile. "Dance with me." she whispers.
He laughs a small, breathy laugh. "It's late. I'll dance with you tomorrow. And it's too dark in here to see where we step."
She smirks, steps back, and open the refrigerator door. The room is flooded with a soft white light, illuminating their bodies.
"Dance with me." She asks again. This time, he puts his hands around her waist, joining her in the middle of the room.Okay this was girly and sweet and cheesy but yeah. Yeah. It was. Okay. Cool. ❤ Yes, no, maybe so? I didn't proofread...

WRITERS BLOCK
RandomThis is where I will put the completely random, has nothing to do with anything stories that I create when I have writers block. I'll put out a stick (or two or three) and write based off what the stick says. Please don't judge me... :)
