Once there was a girl who was crazy.
Mentally insane.
Bonkers.
Mad.
Strange.
Imaginative.
Absurd.
Nuts.
Psychotic.
Whatever you prefer to call it, she was it. Around the young age of sixteen, her parents had enough of her witty, batty, comebacks. And so she was admitted into an asylum.
That was a dark day for everyone.
The girl, now nineteen, is still not quite right. Her mind is disturbed, her thoughts dysfunctional. She never had the right thing to say, she never passed the tests of stability. Forever sentenced to a life of captivity, of yellow rooms and bleach smelling hallways, of shots and pills and loneliness. She was sentenced to a life of depression.
But her, being the way that she is, would never understand how sad her life really is. The small shard of emotional intelligence she has lets her know that something is strange, something is different, something is not right. But who is to tell her the truth?
When she is greeted, she replies with "Are you sure you have access?"
When she is eating, she speaks with the food.
When she has free time, she draws on her walls, mumbling, singing, screaming, crying.
But the one sentence she says over and over again.... "Where is he?"
Nobody knows who this "he" is. Her parents have no knowledge of a male in her life. Her father was never close to her. She had no close friends, mostly people who tolerated her or felt sorry.
So her rants, her thoughts, her dreams and night terrors, her screams of this boy will never be resolved.
For the girl is crazy. She's mad, bonkers. She has a strange imagination that nobody understands. She says absurd things, what she does is nuts.
And anyway... who could ever love such a psychotic girl?

I didnt use a writing prompt for this one... I hope thats okay with you.  😏  Do you know any other words for crazy? I thought of all that I could. 😉
