JASON'S POV
"Hey can i get a room please.?" i asked the man behind the front desk in the hotel.
"How old are you?" he answered back in an annoying voice.
"17 now can i get my room please?"
"Fine how many people?"
"Two. A room with a double bed please"
"How long for?"
"How about i just come down pay you for each night we are here?"
"Fine but you need to pay for tonight now."
"OK, How much?"
"$50 a night"
"Hayley get me it will you?" i turned around facing her.
"Sure" she reached behind here to one of the bags and pulling out the money from where she put it. I left her in charge of it so i couldn't lose it. "Here"
"Thanks babe. There you go."
"I expect you down here tomorrow to pay if you intend to stay here tomorrow night to, Or you will have to leave."
"Fine can i get my key now?"
"I need a name to put the room under first."
"McCann"
"Alright then here is your room key, and i should let you know that if the police come here asking about a pair of runaways matching your name or description i have to tell them you are here." he warned
"What makes you think we are runaways?"
"Two teens booking a hotel room. Its either prom night or you have left home and you sound American so I'm guess the second one is correct."
"Actually we are here visiting my girlfriends aunt, they have no room at the house so we need to stay here and we haven't decided how long we are staying here yet so that is why we are just paying by night."
"fine i will pretend i believe that."
"Whatever man." i picked the bags back up and walked with Hayley to the elevator.
"Jason you shouldn't have given your real name!" Hayley told me.
"It doesn't matter its not like your dad will be able to trace you here. That's why i told you to leave your credit card because he could check that to find you."
"True."
"This is our floor." we got out, and i started looking for our room. I found it and we went in, the room was an OK size, big enough to house us both for a few weeks. After that I'm hoping to have earned enough money to buy a place. "What do you think?"
"Better than i thought we would get after they way you spoke to that guy" Hayley laughed
"He annoyed me"
"Ha i noticed that."
"Lets get unpacked we will be here a few weeks at least."
"OK" we spent the rest of the night getting the room set up, then just watching the TV. Hayley feel asleep on my chest quite early, she must have been tired and most likely stressed out by everything. But we are here now and I'm going to make sure this works out here, no matter what i need to do.
