4 weeks later
It was Saturday, a day i should be sleeping in and doing nothing and i was being woken early by the most irritating beeping sound in the world. My alarm. i rolled over and turned it off then turned back to find Jason still sound asleep beside me. He'd sleep through anything. I got up deciding to give him a few extra minutes and went into the bathroom to shower.
When i came out Jason was still asleep snoring lightly, i laughed at him and decided it was time to wake him up. I would let him lie longer but there's so much to do today, the van was coming at 10am to start to move our stuff to the new place. It was March 1st Jason's birthday, also known as the day we move into our new place.
"Jase." i said softly nudging his shoulder. He groaned and tried to shake my hand off. "Jason you have to get up now i've already gave you an extra half hour. the moving van will be here soon." He still ignored me but shoved his face into the pillow so i knew he was awake. "You need to get up if you want your present."
"Just bring it in and leave it here." he mumbled through the pillow patting the empty space beside him on the bed.
"No if you dont get up your not getting it." i joked. "ill be in the kitchen making breakfast, see you in five minutes." i called over my shoulder leaving the room.
JASON'S POV
I groaned rolling over to check the time, seeing it read 8:30 i thought i should take Hayley's advice and get up. walking out the room and through to the kitchen i saw Hayley leaning over the stove pouring pancake mix into a pan. "Pancakes whats the occasion?" i asked wrapping my arms around her waist.
"Um your birthday" she said turning to face me.
"Its my 19th its not that big a deal." i laughed.
"Yeah but i was in Las Vegas for your 18th so i want to make up for it." she said leaning forward to kiss me.
"You don't have to." i told her after she pulled away.
"Yes i do and you've made it really hard for me since you booked a move for today." she said turning around to finish cooking.
"I didn't realise what today was when i booked it." I told her laying my head on her shoulder.
"You didn't know it was your birthday." she laughed "You really are getting old Jason."
"I just wasn't concentrating on the date." I said giving her neck a soft kiss. "And I'm not old."
"Last year as a teenager." She joked .
"Its your turn in a few months."
"Shut up." she laughed stepping back causing me to remove my arms from her. She walked over to a box and pulled a plate out.
"Hayley did you unpack half the kitchen to do this?" I asked
"No just one box and i can repack while you're getting dressed." she said putting the pancakes on a plate. "Now eat up Birthday boy," she said kissing my cheek and handing me the plate.
"Oh my God." Hayley groaned throwing herself down on the couch. We had just finished putting everything into the new apartment, nothing was in the right place though other than the couch. Our bed was in the hall dismantled into separate parts and all the kitchen stuff was in out bedroom, all the big things just got flung into the house by me and mike, who came to help, while Hayley brought in the lighter boxes and tried to put them in the right room, eventually though she gave up since she had no chance matching things up with the way me and mike put everything.
"you okay?" i asked
"Ever things everywhere" she groaned.
"We just wanted everything in so i could get the van back. I'm gonna go put the bed up so we at least have a place to sleep." I laughed.
"I'll help." Hayley said getting up to follow me.
"I got it."
"Jason i've got nothing else to. I don't even know where the TV is." she said looking around the room.
"Come on then." i led her out to start getting everything together.
An hour later we had gotten out bedroom into a livable space and started working on the rest of the house.
"What do you think about moving all this crap into the spare room and getting dinner?" Hayley asked
"Yeah I'm starved." i agreed and abandoned the box i was unpacking, picking it up to take to the room. "having this room is gonna be great." i told Hayley
"Why?" She asked confused.
"We can just throw stuff in here and not worry about putting it away."
"um no you wont Jase that's laziness." she told me following me into the room.
"So its an empty space."
"Just go order the pizza Jason."
"You know you still haven't given me my gift." i reminded her smirking.
"I know i've got it, i'll give you it after dinner." she said
"Why not now?" i questioned
"Just because now go." she pushed me out the room. I got the point and left going to find my phone, and maybe snoop around to find my present.

OMG in sooo sorry I've taken so long to update I've just be really really busy with school lately, it should be a lot better now though so i should be able to update more quickly and if anybody has ideas for the story please tell me it would be really helpful, I'm starting to get writers block a lot which i making it harder to update :(
