JASON'S POV. 3 MONTHS LATER
"Jason man hurry up we only get an hour for lunch." Mike groaned while I was looking in the shop window at rings.
"Mike shut up, you offered to come. Anyway you do still owe me." I told him.
"For what borrowing your phone?"
"Yeah and almost breaking me and Hayley up in the process."
"I did apologise for that you know?"
"Yeah you did, now help me."
"What do I know about this kinda thing?" mike laughed.
"Same as me but I'm just looking for one she would like."
"Well I don't know what she likes Jason. Anyway are you sure you want to do this?"
"What’s that supposed to mean?"
"Just this is a big thing you’re doing now bro."
"I want to do this I'm sure."
"OK. I was only checking." I rolled my eyes and turned my attention back to the rings.
"I like that one." I said pointing at one that was white gold with a diamond in the middle and smaller ones on the band.
"Go in and get it then I'm hungry." Mike said, I really should have come alone.
"Fine wait here I'm going to get it."
"Why can’t I go in with you?" he asked
"You will end up breaking something." I told him then went inside the shop to talk to the guy.
HAYLEY'S POV.
"Hayley can you fold those shirts over there?" Sarah asked me while she folded some on the table next to the one she wanted me to go to. Yeah I got my old job back, I just went in and told the manager, who was now Sarah since she got a promotion while I was gone, that I had a huge family problem and had to go home straight away. She gave me my job back, I don't know if it was because she believed my story or if she just liked me while I was here.
"Yeah no problem." I replied going to do it.
"What time you finishing today?" she asked
"Half past four."
"20 minutes then. And look who's already outside" She said looking out the window. I looked where she was looking and saw Jason's car parked outside the store. I rolled my eyes.
"He’s early today, I swear if he was fired for arguing with his boss again I'm gonna kill him."
"He do that a lot then?"
"What?
"Get in trouble."
"He used to, but he’s been behaving the past few months, he just really hates his boss." I laughed
"What kind of trouble?" Sarah asked raising her eyebrows.
"Just stupid things he managed to get himself into." I lied it wasn't like I was gonna say yeah he went around bombing places in Las Vegas, including my dad’s work which is the reason we are here. No she didn't need to know any of that.
"Oh well. Some people just attracted trouble I guess."
"You have no idea" I laughed again.
"Well if your done with the shirts you can leave early."
