The Next Day.

Audrey wakes up for school feeling like shit with Tailand crowding her mind. Hurtful words were spoken and feelings were hurt. She can't believe that she actually still feels some type of way about him. 

She gets up and slowly walks into the bathroom holding her head. She looks into the mirror.

"Ugh." She says in response to her reflection. She rubs her tear strained face and turns away from the mirror rolling her eyes, frustrated that she was even crying. 

She hops in the shower and gets ready.

Tailand gets home and goes to shower, trying to wash his guilt away. He wonders how he's going to tell Audrey about last night.

He wipes the water off his face and takes a deep breath. "Shit.." he says thinking about his mistake over and over.

"Well y'all ain't together so you ain't gotta tell her nothing." One side of his brain says.

"But you like her, and when you do get with her, you don't want to go into the relationship with secrets." The other side says.

He groans in frustration.

They both get to school and class begins.

Audrey sits down with Kiki and tells her about what happened the day before.

"Aw hell nah girl! He got you messed up... he really got in his feelings cause you said ya'll wasn't together? He immature as hell! Leave his stupid ass alone." She says rolling her eyes saying it loud enough for him to hear. He sneers over at her. 

He smacks his lips shaking his head.

"Ugh, I know right? Like I was so mad I even cried over his stupid ass. I think my feelings we're just hurt." Audrey says in more a hushed tone. She leans forward and lays her head in her arms on the table.

"Uh uh... bitch. You cried over that shit? He ain't even shit to be crying over. He a lil boy who can't control his mouth." Kiki says hushed, ducking her head down to Audrey.

"I know I know! I just.. I don't know. I was feeling him like, we was kickin' it and it was all cool but now I feel like I was too open with him. Like I got to comfortable." Audrey whispers sulking.

Kiki sighs.. "It's okay girl... it happens to the best of us." She says putting her hand on her back. "You just need to chill on him, you really don't need no more drama for real." She whispers and Audrey nods her head.

"Yeah you right... I'm just gon chill out and ignore him." Audrey says sitting up some more.

"What you think he gon try and talk to you?" Kiki asks with her eyebrow up.

"Yeah girl he might.. he be tryna smooth shit over like it never happened and I ain't with that. He got too much going on anyway. Like I said in the beginning, I need to leave him alone." Audrey says shrugging her shoulders.

Kiki nods and they continue to talk about the situation throughout the whole class period. The class ends and they go their separate ways. Audrey is dreading for the next class that they have together because they are partners on a project.

She turns her head and sees him at his locker. She quickly turns back around, trying not to make eye contact. She hurries to her next class.

Audrey sits down at a computer and logs in trying to pretend that she's working.

Taii walks in not really knowing wether to sit next to her or to leave her alone. His stomach starts turning. He takes a deep breath and walks up to sit next to her. Her heart pounds and she feels a lump in her throat.
