CHAPTER CONTAINS- MENTION OF DEATHS, SUICIDE

Y/N

I sped out of Ponys room as soon as I could, leaving the gang disturbed and Pony probably damaged. I skidded along the hallway as I entered the living room seeing that he wasn't there and I darted out of the door. I crashed locked behind me. I could hear the 6 pairs of converse hitting the hard floor after me as my legs took me wherever I felt.

I shot through every neighbourhood since I wasn't positive where he'd be at this period but I certainly knew it wasn't great. Further on into the neighbourhood, I heard the noises of sirens so I hurried towards them. Anywhere sirens were then that's where Dally most probably was. The boy was constantly getting himself into some kind of trouble.

The wind as it smacked my face it wiped my tears but it just couldn't keep up as more gushed out. I was running faster than I've ever run before following the sounds of police. I could see a faint outline of a man running in front, a jean jacket going with him. I could see a pistol in his right hand but he started to slow down.

The mop of hair on his head looked exactly like Dally's so I knew it was him. I began to shriek and wail out loud as I followed the vehicles. I began to overtake the car nearest to the back but I wasn't fast enough.

Knowing Dally he would get himself shot, his wit and sarcasm would get at least his arm broken. I saw through it all. When I looked at Dally I saw potential, he could be whoever he wanted to be and he wanted this. I have always respected every decision he's made, except for this of course.

Every so often he turned around to look at the cars and the final time he saw me.

"Dally!" I shouted still running but he was too far away from me to hug. I was 80% postie he could hear me at this point. I saw him slow down. He ran up onto a hill while police surrounded him. I stopped dead in my tracks. Dally pointed the gun at them and I shook my head speedily.

"Dally put the gun down!!" I yelled at the top of my voice, my lungs paying for every syllabe.

I closed my eyes.

BANG

BANG

Two gun shots.

I saw Dally tumbling down a hill dropping his gun.

I stood there unable to believe what I was seeing.

"NO! DALLAS!" I yelled running towards him.

He crawled along the road, he tried with every might to get away. He didn't want to die here, I knew it and even he knew it.

"Y/n" he muttered my name pointing.

He sprawled out on the floor. He was dead. I shook him endlessly thinking this was a prank. I didn't want to believe what I was seeing. I didn't want to lose two people in one day.

I slapped his face.

"Dallas fucking Winston wake the hell up!" I cried shaking my head.

"No no no no" I repeated crying on his chest. Usually, it would rise up and down but not anymore. He was dead.

Dead.

Dead.

I cried.

I knew he would be dead because Dally Winston wanted to be dead and Dally always got what he wanted.Under his tough guy act, I knew he was just a kid. Just like me and pony and johnny and the rest of the guys. We were just kids and not a kid had lost his life. Dally's shirt bundled in my hand as I dampened his chest. I couldn't accept the fact he was gone.

I guess that he couldn't stand to live without Johnny, seeing how much he was in pain broke my heart. What broke my heart more was that I wasn't there to take care of him. Maybe this wouldn't have happened if I hadn't been so caught up in pony's hair.

I heard footsteps behind me.

"YOU STUPID IDIOT! YOU STUPID FREAKS!" Darry screamed behind me stomping in anger. I heard the police cars drive away, satisfied with the destruction they'd caused.

A police officer stood in front of Winston's body a gun innocently placed in his hand. Dally's gun was in his hand, his hand still clenched tightly around it. It was trying to tell me something. It was calling to me.

I couldn't take it anymore.

I grasped the gun in my hand and pointed it at the cop. I shot him in the heart instantly. h collapsed to the floor. I let out one final cry before standing up, looking down at my big brother's body. I exhaled shakily, my hands gripping the gun tightly. I felt a hand in between my shoulder blades for comfort. This was it. I was happy now. That was all I needed.

I turned back to look at Pony. He looked so scared so I smiled at him. He returned it. I turned back around and placed the gun to my temple quickly. I heard the guys screaming and yelling at me so I closed my eyes and said my final words.

"I love you guys", I said before pulling the trigger.

I lay on the floor, the darkness taking over bit by bit.

"You know Pony, I've always had a thing for blondes" I whispered within an inch of death.

I felt hands on my body as I passed. I saw Dally holding my hand as we ran into the sunset together, just like Pony. We were together at last. Our parents were behind us. Our siblings and grandparents surrounding us. We were together again. Johnny ran into the circle too. He stayed loyal. He stayed gold. We all did.

We all walked up to heaven hand in hand until a trap door opened sending us piling down into a crime-filled hell. Welcome home guys, said a voice.
