The Wedding

Right after the unexpected proposal, we stayed at the church until the ceremony ended.

They newly wed couple came to us before getting inside their car.

"Hey congratulations!" I beamed.

"Yeah thanks and for bringing her to me. Thank you." the groom said as he stared ta his wife lovingly.

"It was nothing. I'm sure anyone would do the same thing."

"Ella? I'm sorry if you somehow doubted Princess because of me." the bride apologized.

"I'm sorry too for the interruption I made." - Ella

"And congratulations on your engagement too. It was . . . romantic." - Groom

I laughed "I hope so."

"So um we better go. Our guests are probably hungry." - Groom

"Yeah sure, go ahead."

"It will be really nice if you'll come with us?" - Bride.

"We'd love to but I Ieft my business partner in the middle of a meeting." - Ella

"Oh yeah, my friend probably worried sick now. A next time would be good though." I grinned.

They chuckled "Sure sure. So see you next time?" they looked at us.

"Definitely." Ella and I said in unison.

They bid their goodbye.

Ginamit namin ang kotse ko paalis ng lugar. Ipapasundo nalang kay Manong ang kotse ni Ella.

I stole a glance from the woman in my passenger seat. I took her hand and intertwined it with mine.

"When are we gonna tell our family?" I asked as I kissed her hand.

"Tonight."

"Agad?"

"Oo, sakto dahil may family dinner tayo diba?"

"Oh shoot! Nawala sa isip ko." I muttered as I stopped in a red light.

Pinitik naman niya ang ilong ko "Pasaway! Ikaw kaya mismo ang nagschedule nun."

Medyo napalakas ang pagpitik niya kaya hinimas ko "Ouch." sensitive ang ilong kaya naman medyo naluha ang ako.

"Napalakas?" in her malambing tone

I nodded.

"Aww sorry." she caressed and then kissed it.

"Ito rin masakit." turo ko sa nguso ko.

Tinapik niya ito.

Kunwari akong nasaktan "Aww."

And just like that she gave me a smack. Kinilig naman ako :">

"Sinasadya mong saktan ako para makatyansing ka sakin no?" I teased her.

She giggled "Pansin mo?"

I sighed at her cuteness. Nakakagigil.

"If we weren't in the middle of the road, I will kiss you until you're breathless."

All of a sudden, she grabbed me by the collar and crashed her lips to mine.

Magkalapat lang ang aming mga labi dahil na rin sa gulat kaya hindi ako nakareact agad.

And it was enough to make me breathless.
