Love this quote! Silencing the mind, great thing to practice, helping the mind heal as well as using intelligence with managing our emotions and all else in the mental health & psychology area! So I believe psychology can change the world as long as we allow/let it!
I find that my parents & sister refuse to let it impact them and change them for the better. They just think I need to work on myself and that my mom doesn't see enough change in me in a period of 2 years since the end of college.
Screw that, I'm gonna continue being proud of all my accomplishments and continue working hard progressing in my recovery as well as following my treatment plan!
So I'd like to thank everyone here in the happier community for all your help! As well as helping me focus on my own recovery and less on helping my parents do better in every area that can benefit them and change them, due to that hurting me in the end.
Which is why I have particularly these two books from the library: "When Helping You, Is Hurting Me" & "Handling Difficult People"!
