Epilogue: The Wedding
Yumi's POV
'You know that East Coast girls
Always say what we mean
And shy Southern boys
Often don't say a thing
But opposites attract
And you were drawn to me
And something 'bout you
Sparked my curiosity...'
"Uhmm... excuse me?" I murmured shyly at the guy in front of me. I can't deny the fact that I was really mesmerized by his eyes. It's so expressive and captivating. "I have to get inside and also... uhm, your arms..." I said uncomfortably pointing to his arms that were already on mine. I looked at him in disbelief when I heard a growled? Did he really growl?
I smile as I remember our first meeting. I will never forget that moment. I think I fall in love with him the moment I look into his eyes. Could that be possible? Again, I just shrug and continue the song.
'They say that good guys
Usually don't come in first
Good girls fall for bad guys
But with us it's reverse
Not your average love song
Between you and me
The way the story unfolds
Defies gravity...'
Then, we had our kiss, our very first kiss. I really can't believe that I just kiss a guy on my first day of school! I must be crazy but I like it. After that, I thought I would never see him again. But then, I was wrong. Though I was irritated that he became all of a sudden overprotective of me, I can't help but to find it sweet. I even secretly wish that he would not change.
'Don't have to put on my makeup
I can leave out my contacts
Don't have to dress up for you
To think that I'm beautiful
If I have a moody day
I don't have to act like I'm okay
I'm overdramatic
And you know how to handle it
Act natural, be emotional
Show my insecurities
And I love the way you love me
For who I am underneath
(Who I am underneath)...'
