Leah's POV

Riley sighed and Draco shook his head disappointedly.

"Yeah, I'm your half brother," he admitted.

 "Only half?" I frowned.

"Well yeah, I really don't think Katie and dad would last to have two kids," he smirked.

"You're older, how am I supposed to know what happened in the early years," I winked and he laughed.

"Alright Leah," father warned and I giggled.

"My dad gave me a brother for my birthday!" I laughed. Riley joined in and moved closer.

"Well at least my sister's more interesting than Blaise. He's an ass," Riley teased.

"Hey, I didn't see you when I spent a few days at the Zabini house hold!" I said.

"I was spending Christmas break at my Aunt's," he said with a half smile.

"Ah, I see," I nodded.

"I did hear my dad tortured you though," he said thoughtfully.

"Darius did what?" father asked calmly, but I knew better; he was furious.

"Leah was in Blaise's room and she was sarcastic towards dad so he tortured her. Heard she gave him hell for it," Riley laughed.

"Yes, he practically worshiped me afterwards," I recalled.

"Oh yeah he did," Riley smiled. I smirked and looked around the room with a sense of boredom.

"Let's have some fun!" I smiled.

"What kind of fun?" Alex smiled.

"Got any Firewhiskey?" I asked hopefully.

Alex laughed and nodded, "I do, actually."

"Get it, get it, get it!" I said excitedly.

"Absolutely not!" Draco protested and I slowly looked at him.

"Why?" I asked angrily.

"Why else?" he asked.

"It's my birthday!" I protested. He glanced to the side uncertainly and then met my eyes again with determination.

"It's only the morning of your birthday, wait until tonight," he said firmly.

"You can't tell me what to do!" I snapped.

"No, I can't, but I can stop you from doing something stupid," he glared. I glared back coldly and sneered.

"Oh really? Prove it," I snapped, and then grabbed Alex's hand, pulling him out the door.

"Leah, I actually agree with Draco," Alex admitted as I pulled out the Firewhiskey.

"Do you not want to get drunk?" I sighed.

"Well it isn't that," he smirked, "but I just don't think getting drunk so early in the morning is even tasteful."

 "Well...yeah, I guess," I agreed unhappily.

"I promise we'll get drunk out of our minds tonight," he smiled.

"Sounds like a plan!" I said wickedly and we laughed.

"I don't even know where I'm staying," I frowned as we pulled away.

"Stay here," Alex shrugged . I regarded him carefully and then slowly nodded.

"Sure, just for tonight," I said, and then curled up under the heavy covers, where I fell into a deep sleep next to Alex. Maybe heartbreak opens your eyes to possibilities you never considered.
