"Good day and welcome back to Divination. I have, of course, been following your fortunes most carefully over the holiday, and am delighted to see you have all returned to Hogwarts safely- as of course I knew you would," Professor Trelawney said, and I rolled my eyes.
"You will find on the tables before you copies of 'The Dream Oracle', by Inigo Imago. Dream interpretation is a most important means of divining the future and one that may very probably be tested in your O.W.L. Not, of course, that I believe examination passes or failures are of the remote importance..." she said, but I tuned her out. I really do not care about dreams and their meanings.
Since Ariana is now putting her plans in action, it's my turn. I'm going to build up an army. I'll train my Slytherin's so they can defend themselves and each other...just think, when this war starts, (and I know it will) my team will be prepared.
"Miss Riddle...Miss Riddle...Miss Riddle," Professor Trelawney called, and my head snapped up.
"What?" I asked and she walked over.
"I would like it if you were to pay more attention in my class, that is of course, unless you have a valid reason," she said and I smirked.
"Professor, I had a vision," I said and the class snickered, others rolled their eyes. Trelawney believed me of course.
"What was this vision?" she asked and I folded my hands.
"I had a vision of a new beginning, a revolution so to speak...where everything we know will change," I said and the professor thought for a moment.
"My dear, I sense it too. I believe you have the gift," she said tearfully, grasping my hand before walking off. Draco looked over at me from his table with Blaise and I looked at him seriously.
"We need to talk," I mouthed and he nodded.
"Leah, you're crazy," Pansy snorted and I looked over at a journal she was writing in.
"What is that?" I asked curiously, seeing that I had one too.
"Our dream journals. If you weren't having a vision," she snickered, "you'd know that."
"I'll tell you about my 'vision' later," I laughed and she started writing again.
"Well, what was your dream?" I asked, peeking over.
"No, get out of here," she smiled, leaning away.
"I want to know," I said with a smile, trying to snatch the book away. She pulled it back and walked over to Draco, pulling him up and pushing him over towards me, sitting in his now vacant seat. I looked at her with a smirk and then shook my head. Draco looked at her in confusion before walking over to sit next to me.
"You wanted to talk?" he asked pulling my chair closer. I slapped his arm and shook my head.
"Don't do that," I said, moving back over.
"Why not?" he smirked.
"I could have a vision again, or become possessed," I said seriously and he laughed loudly.
"Whatever," he shook his head. Class ended and we stood up, grabbing our journals and leaving.
"Off to Umbridge's class. Anyway, listen, I wanna start the training program I was talking about ASAP. Ariana is already after us," I said lowly to Draco and Pansy.
"Alright, we'll call a Slytherin meeting tonight," Draco nodded and I smiled.
"Brilliant," I said.
