After so much waiting, September 1st finally hit.
I threw my hair into a side braid and made my eyes their natural green before applying black eyeliner and mascara to them. In my spare time, I learned to change my hair color, so as of right now, its platinum blonde. I pulled on my black heels and grabbed my wand, running down the stairs with my luggage.
"Where's Draco?" I asked, looking around at the beautiful home. How I've missed leaving my room!
"Draco has been staying at Blaise's, you'll see him on the train," Narcissa said, hugging me.
"Have a great year," she smiled and I smiled back.
"I will; I'm gonna rule the school!" I laughed and then took Mom's hand so we could apparate.
"What about Pansy?" I asked, and Mom smirked.
"Mikey brought her," she said and I scowled.
"Are you making me wait forever to see them? I haven't even been able to write!"
She just laughed and we walked along the platform, dodging other witches and wizards. I caught sight of Neville and he smiled at me. Keeping up my charade, I smiled back and winked, which caused him to blush.
"Leah," someone called, and I looked up to see Mikey.
"Mikey!" I beamed and hugged him.
"Where's Pansy?" I asked as I pulled away. Mikey laughed and shrugged.
"No idea," he smirked and I glared at him.
"Whatever. Bye guys, I'll see you over Christmas!" I said, boarding the train. I found a compartment with only one other person in it and sat down, anxiously waiting to see my friends. I heard the compartment door open and I turned my head to see the golden trio and Ginny.
"Leah, is that you?" Potter asked hopefully.
"Yeah," I smiled, standing up.
"We thought they'd killed you!" Granger cried, clinging to me.
"No, I'm fine," I laughed, hugging her and then Ginny.
"I really thought you were a goner," Weasley said quietly, and then enveloped me in a hug. I was slightly shocked for a moment, but then hugged him back.
"Good to see you," I lied softly. We all sat down and I started bouncing my leg in anticipation.
"You look great Leah," Potter complimented and I smiled.
"Oh thank you," I said. Weasley's eyes raked over me observantly and yes, puberty has done its best work on me.
"Like what you see?" I winked and he blushed so that his face matched his hair.
"What did they do to you?" Granger asked, sending Weasley a faint look of disgust.
"Well, they asked for my alliance, and at first I refused, but then I lied to them and agreed. Basically, after that, I was treated as an equal," I shrugged.
"You were able to lie to you-know-who?" Granger asked in surprise.
"Sure, he didn't pay much attention because he figured the Riddle in me would take over anyway," I rolled my eyes.
"Did they torture you?" Ginny asked with wide eyes.
"At first," I grimaced.
"What did Crouch and Malfoy do? They sounded pretty angry with you at the house," Weasley asked.
