 "Leah!" Pansy screamed.

"What just happened?" I heard Draco yell and Ariana was screaming. Make your brain work Leah, come on! My stomach dropped because I seemed to be falling in slow motion, watching Pansy, Draco, Weasley, Claire, and Severus looking over the edge of the window. I heard students start screaming, and my screams mixed with Ariana's.

"Aresto momentum!" I cried, and I instantly slowed, but realized Ariana was still falling. Let her fall, Leah, let her fall!

"Aresto momentum!" I shouted, and she slowed right before hitting the ground. Why did I do that?! No, no, no! I landed on the ground with a soft thud next to Ariana and she was curled up, sobbing. I just laid on the ground in shock as people started running over. I slowly sat up and looked at Ariana who was bawling her eyes out.

"You saved my life," she sobbed.

"You hate me, and have almost killed me multiple times, but you saved me," she cried, clinging to me. I just sat there in shock, and all I could think was, 'why did I do that'? I guess she thought the same thing.

"Why'd you do it?" she whispered as people started gathering around.

 "I don't know," I finally said.

"I owe you my life," she said seriously.

"Don't be so dramatic," I glared.

"I really do," she said and I turned my head, standing up.

"Leah are you alright?" a million voices asked as people started leaving Ariana and swarming me.

"I'm fine," I snapped, waving them off and then shakily walking back into the school. I heard everyone who was in the astronomy tower running through the halls as I went to the common room and then they turned the corner, seeing me. I walked into the common room, but not before the Slytherin's slipped in, leaving Claire and Weasley in the dust.

"Leah, are you alright?" Draco asked hugging me tightly.

"Why did I save her?" I asked, tears slipping down my cheeks.

"Because you aren't your father," Pansy cried, pushing Draco away and hugging me as we both shook with sobs. I clung to her like I was dying and our sobs turned into full cries.

"Oh my God, what happened?" Astoria asked, walking downstairs and Draco started explaining.

"I am so sorry Miss Riddle, I didn't realize you would fall," Severus said, looking choked up.

"It's alright professor," I cried, wiping away tears and pulling back from Pansy. Hydra licked my cheeks and I managed a smile.

"Okay, I'm fine, it's time to move on," I said, taking a deep breath.

"Slytherin meeting tonight everyone... but don't tell Ariana," I said, and then went upstairs to change.

"Okay Slytherin's, we all know what happened today at the astronomy tower, and yes I was sent to Madame Pomfrey, for those of you who are really that concerned," I rolled my eyes. Ariana was sent to St. Mungo's for shock treatment so we were safe to hold our meeting tonight.

"I asked you all to meet here because I am going to start a defense group since Umbridge won't teach us, and she is now High inquisitor or whatever," I snorted.

"I have a feeling something is up if we aren't being taught anything, so I think it's a good idea for all of you to be educated in defense," I said and a few people shared excited looks.
