"Severus!" I called, standing outside of his quarters. I checked my watch and saw that it was now six o clock. I started pacing and then knocking loudly.
"Sev!" I called again. I heard movement from behind the door in the back of the room and then I heard a drawer slam shut.
"Come on," I whined, sliding down to sit against the door just before it flew open.
"What?" Severus snapped, walking out and pulling his robe around him.
"Love the all black pajamas," I smirked.
"Get off the floor," he drawled tiredly.
"Why?"
"Are you drunk?" he narrowed his eyes.
"What? No," I laughed.
"When did you wake up?" he asked.
"About three hours ago," I stood up.
"Right. Why on Earth are you here bothering me?"
"Well I may or may not need a broom."
"For Quidditch I assume," he raised one eyebrow. I nodded excitedly and he walked back into his room. I followed and watched as he went over to a closet and unlocked it, pulling out a very nice broom. He handed it to me with an annoyed look and I took it excitedly.
"Huh. So why do you have a broom, Sev?" I asked, sitting on top of a desk and swinging my legs.
"Lucius said you might need it," he said, pursing his lips.
"Lucius was right!" I winked. Severus quirked an eyebrow and I hopped off of the desk, kissing him on the cheek.
"Well, thank you and do not tell my father!"
***
"I got one!" I smiled when I walked back into the Common Room.
"You've got mail," Pansy said, ignoring me. I took both the letters from Alisana and set my new broom down.
Dear Leah,
No, your father did not tell me. However, Pansy did. Are you sure you're fine, sweetie? I'm so worried about you.
You will rest up and you are not trying out for Quidditch, do you understand? What are you doing up so early anyway?
Please deal with Riley later. I don't want you so weak that you could get hurt. I miss you and over winter holiday I promise I'll be around as much as I can. Astoria's mother is going to be a pain, however. I know how hard it must be to lead a funeral for the boy you were supposed to marry, but you must understand you were closest to him. I look forward to the death eater's ceremony as well.
I'm also sure you'll plan a wonderful party, but take it easy and do NOT try out for Quidditch. I love and miss you.
Love,
Mom.
I sighed and bounced my leg as Hydra rubbed her face against my cheek. I tore into Mikey's letter next. A smile quickly made its way onto my face.
Dear insanely confused sister,
I am not the git here, you are. Actually you're more of a pansy, and I do not mean our sister. Passing out? You wuss.
So, you have problems with a professor? You mean she messed up your oh so perfect face? That's just crossing the line. I can't wait to hear about the gruesome murder you plan on committing.
