Leah's POV
"Miss Riddle, I know you do not know who I am, but I am here to help you," a crazy man with a long white beard and half-moon spectacles said.
"You're the headmaster, so I've been told," I said.
"My name is Albus Dumbledore," he nodded.
"How can you help me?" I asked.
"Have you ever heard of a pensive? Well, do you remember anything about a pensive?" he asked.
"No, I don't," I frowned.
"Well, it's where you can see memories as if you were really there, only the people in the memories can't see, feel, or hear you. I wish to take your friends memories so you can see them. We can possibly stimulate your memory," he said.
"You think it'll work?" I asked.
"I hope it will work," he corrected, "you see, you're a very valuable piece in this school. You're the deciding factor of the war."
"We're in a war?" I asked.
"Not quite yet, but we are in the beginning stages," he said.
"So that's all she is? A pawn in this stupid war?" Draco asked angrily.
"No, she is the King in this 'stupid war'. If she gets caught by the other side, we lose. Check mate," Dumbledore winked, but I did not find it funny.
"Listen, I don't know what world you're living in, but I am not helping you. I don't know you," I said.
"Miss Riddle, you're saying that now, but once your memories return you'll remember your alliance," he said gently. I rolled my eyes and Damon smirked at me.
"Come, we should try and jog your memory as soon as possible. Mister Malfoy and Miss Parkinson, come with me. You should get Miss Moon, and Mister Zabini as well," Dumbledore said, and they helped me to my feet.
"We didn't want to change you in case it jostled one of your ribs. If your ribs moved too early on in the healing process it could've punctured your lung," Pansy said when I saw my bloody Halloween costume...or what I assume was my costume. Do I dress like this every day? Oh I do hope it's a costume. They handed me a pair of heels, which were the only thing around, and I put them on. We started walking to Dumbledore's office, and as we did so, people gawked at me. Unexpectedly, someone ran up to me and hugged me tightly. I cried out and pulled back in fear.
"I am so glad you're okay!" she cried. I looked at her bushy brown hair and brown eyes; I don't know her.
"What?" I asked, and Potter pulled her back.
"Leah this is Hermione," he said, and I recognized the name from earlier. She's a Gryffindor I hate but pretend to like.
"Oh, you're my friend," I nodded. Hermione looked at me oddly and then frowned.
"Yes, I am," she said with her brow furrowed.
"She's got amnesia," Potter muttered and she gasped.
"Oh Leah," she said sadly.
"Dumbledore, can I please come? I've got a lot of memories, too," Claire asked and he nodded. Damon came back with 'Miss Moon' and 'Mister Zabini' I'm assuming.
"Leah, I heard about what happened. I'm Blaise Zabini, you're hot best friend," he smiled.
"I doubt that's how I would've described you," I smiled shyly.
