Dolores Umbridge High Inquisitor
"What does that mean? Who is Dolores Umbridge?" I asked, reading the poster on the wall by the Great Hall.
"That means you can't do the Slytherin defense class," Draco muttered.
"The what class?" I asked and he sighed.
"It doesn't matter now," he said, sounding a bit angry. I felt like I was a bother to him now that my memory was gone. I really hope he doesn't get too fed up with me.
"Umbridge is our toad of a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher," Pansy said, giving Draco a pointed look.
"You were one of the few who stood up to her," Blaise said.
"You see this?" Pansy asked, taking my left hand. I read the scar that was on my hand and frowned.
"She did that?" I asked.
"The one on your face too, but to be honest I didn't want you to freak out so I covered it up before you looked in the mirror," Pansy admitted.
"Oh..." I nodded.
"Well let's go," Draco said, taking my hand. He led me into the Great Hall where hundreds of students were sitting, the air filled with the excited buzz of voices. I went to sit with people I recognized, such as Potter and Granger, but Draco pulled me in the opposite direction.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"The Slytherin table," he said with a faint smile.
"I knew that," I lied with a smile. Draco just looked at me sadly and then I looked away so he didn't see how sad I was. People started staring at me and I knew that the second they turned their heads, they were gossiping. I may not know who these people are, but I know how teenagers work. I held my head high, and acted like everything was fine. Nobody knows I have amnesia because I asked them not to say anything.
"Leah, it's been a while," smirked a chubby boy and I gave a short laugh.
"Yeah, it has," I agreed.
"How are you?" asked his skinner friend.
"Eh, I'm alright," I shrugged.
"Well why don't we celebrate tonight?" the fat one asked.
"Oh yes, let's!" said an excited sounding little girl.
"Babe, you can celebrate with me all you want," a kid with fiery red hair winked.
