Chapter 6

(You P.O.V)

I grabbed my skateboard, ran, and jumped in the air and prayed....

In my mind I was screaming at this point.

I manage to jump in the air and to do a triple back flip, then an land on the ground and did an ollie.

I decided to top it off by jumping in the air again with the skateboard under my feet, I landed on the railing and glided gracefully across the railing. As I was about to land on the ground , I tried to turn and when I tried to turn my board seem to stop, I turned around to fast. And I flew off the board and I started to head in the , my eyes widen in fear.

"MIKEY!" I screamed

He quickly jumped into the ditch and caught me, I looked at him in relief but the way he was looking at me wasn't good.

Even through all the years I have met Mikey, I've never seem him serious before. It kind of scared me but I gave him a awkward smile.

"What we're you thinking?!" He nearly yelled

"I was trying to beat you!" I replied

"Beat me in what?!, What I was trying to show you!"

I nodded

"You understand you could have gotten hurt!"

"Well I didn't, you caught me!"

"Well I'm not gonna be there for you all the time to catch you!"

"Well I'm sorry if you wanted to be 'Mr. Over protective'!"

"Y/n... if I didn't catch you could have gotten hurt!, look around you! You could have busted you're head!"

"Well!.... um.... I got nothing..." I said as I looked down.

I was only looking at my jeans, Mikey was still carrying me bridal style.

He started to laugh, I looked at him with a weird look.

"Look I'm sorry, I was just really scared...." He said after he was laughing

I sighed and replied with "It's fine..."

Mikey set me down and we both decided to climb out the ditch.

(Mikey P.O.V)

As Y/n and I climbed out the ditch I looked at her at the corner of my eye.

She still seemed pretty mad about my outburst after I caught her.

I gave a silent sigh and grabbed my board.

"Ready to go?" She asked

I nodded and we both rode our skateboards to her apartment. When we made it back to her apartment we pulled up in a near by alley and that has a ladder that leads to her rooftop.

( You P.O.V)

As we climbed up the ladder, I had this feeling of being irritated after his outburst. I accepted his apology but I don't understand why I want to smack his face!

When we made to the top of the rooftop we just stood there in silence.

"Um... thanks for tonight.... BYE!" I said as I walked to the exit.

Something stopped me , I slightly turned my head to find Mikey holding on my wrist. I turned my body all the way around so I can face Mikey. He yanked my wrist towards him, he pulled me into a hug.

His green arms now resting on my shoulders, green hands stroking my hair, along with his head resting on my head.

"I'm sorry.... you just scared me! It's been five years and I didn't want anything to happen to you. You're my best friend and I'll take that back what I said earlier.... I will always be there for you." He whispered

I didn't know why I was blushing , same with getting a 'butterflies' in my stomach.

He let go of his embrace and looked at me straight in the eyes. I think he realized my face red from me blushing.

He quickly jumped back and started a laugh and rubbed the back of his head.

"S-sorry did I do something?" he asked now with his cheeks tinted with a slight of pink

"N-no, well I'll see you l-later..."

"Yeah..."

"Thanks again." I smiled as I set my hand on the handle that leads to the exit.

"No problem anytime, give me a call sometime." He smirked as he jumped from a different roof top.

My mom was taking a shower as I was finishing my dinner.

I quickly realized something which made me choke on my food.

"I DON'T HAVE HIS NUMBER!" I shouted

"GIRL,STOP YELLING!" my mom screamed from the bathroom.

"SORRY!" I replied, I groaned seeing how stupid I was not getting his number.

"I wonder if he even notice this himself." I frowned

A certain turtle realized that he didn't give his bestfreind his number.

Mikey fell to his knees and just laid on the ground frozen realizing how stupid his mistake was.
