Y/n: Hey....

Mikey: Hey!

Y/n:I'm sorry about the other night

Mikey: You wanna talk about it?

Y/n: Um.... I know I said that I didn't want to see you or anything but I take that back. Wanna meet me at a ice cream shop?

Mikey:Sure I'll be there at.... 7pm?

Y/n: Yeah that sounds good.

Mikey: Meet you later, bye!

Y/n: Bye~

(No ones P.O.V)

Y/n read through the text messages over and over again.

She was scared, scared on what he had to say about what's going on through her life and that night.

She let a out a sigh and fell backwards to land safely on her bed, she stared blankly at the ceiling thinking on what to say once she sees her old best friend.

(You P.O.V)

I sat up and got off my bed, went to my mirrior and started to freshen up a bit.

It wasn't long until I had to start walking to the ice cream shop where I'm meeting Mikey.

I put on a light jacket and left my apartment, I made it to the icecream shop and I met Mikey by a nearby alley.

"H-Hey." I greeted

"Wanna meet up on the roof?" he asked

"Sure, but you want anything before we do?"

"Um... I want strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate ice cream together... and sprinkles!"

I laughed, he's just so cute when he gets really happy.

"Okay, I'll be back!"

(You P.O.V)

"Hey I'm back!"

"Oh want any help?" Mikey asked

"Um... yeah." I said with a smile

"Here get on my back, I'll give you a piggy back ride until we make it to the roof."

I nodded

I tighten to grip on our icecream and jump on the back of Mikey.

Mikey made sure that I wouldn't fall as we made it to the roof. We sat on the edge of roof enjoying the savoring treats, after we finished our ice cream Mikey spoke.

"So why did you do it?" he asked

"Do what?" I asked knowing the answer and trying not to sound nervous.

"You know what I'm talking about Y/n. Why did you join that gang?"

His voice was serious, it didn't sound like the cute, childish, light voice I grew up with, he kind of made it hard for me to speak.

"Remember that night when we found out that I was moving and we both thought we would never see each other again."

"Yeah, worst day of my life."

"Mine too. But anyways it turns out that my dad left my mom and I,and as I got older I came realize that my dad was a bad man. But instead of staying with his family here, he wanted to start new life and now he's living the life with his new wife and kids. He didn't even married my mom, which is fine but he could have tell us that he was leaving us... never even said good bye. Back to the story, I was walking one day and I was snatched by one of the gang members or I mean leader Huns. He threatened that his gang would hurt me and my mom if I didn't join his gang. I guess since my dad was part of that gang a long time ago he might saw something about me that could have been useful. But you know being the scared 14 year old self I had no way out if it . I didn't want my mom to get hurt, I care for her she's like the only family I have left. I don't know what would have happened if I lost her. So I joined the gang to protect my mom and I know the dangers that have come on being in this gang. And I asked Huns one day, what if I wanted to quit?"

"What was his answer?" Mikey whispered

"He said the only way out is for me to be jumped by each member of the gang."

I saw Mikey's face changed in a instant, he jolted up took me by the shoulders and stared right into my eyes.

"Mikey?!, what are y-"

"Look!, If you think about quiting the gang tell me before you meet them okay?" Mikey interrupted

"Why?"

"Because along with that promise I made you that night when we hung out. I'm making another one... I will protect you no matter what do you understand me Y/n?"

"Y-yeah..."

My face is heating up, am I blushing?

Omg!, he's face is too close, he's touching my shoulders!

Why am I acting like this!

(Internally Screaming)

"O-oh sorry!, I didn't mean too, I'm sorry!"

Mikey let go of my shoulders and I just sat there looking like a tomato.

"It's fine" I laughed

"And about that...On my next mission with the guys I'll quit. I was planing on doing so anyways, heh." I added

"And do you promise that you'll tell me before you do that?, I don't want you to get hurt."

"Yeah I promise dude, geez so over protectived." I joked

"Heh, whatever." Mikey pouted

"Awe is baby getting mad?" I giggled

"WhAt No!"

"Awe now he's getting fussy." I laughed as I barely pitched his cheeks.

At this point Mikey a gave up on trying to tell me 'no', I stopped and pulled him in a hug.

"Mikey?" I whispered

"Y-yeah?"

"Are you feeling okay?, you're face is getting hot, fever?"

I was gonna say something else but for his body temperature caught me off guard

"I'm f-fine!"
