Chapter 21

(You P.O.V)

"And I can promise you this, you being with me won't be a mistake." He said softly.

"That's what he said?" Val asked while she sits on my bed eating a tub of ice cream. I sat across from her and nodded fiddling with my thumbs, feeling uneasy.

"What did you say?" She asked once more, I turned the other way trying to avoid her piercing aqua-green eyes.

"I just kissed his cheek and that was it..." I trailed off.

"You didn't say anything?" 

"No, I mean I couldn't.. I didn't know what to say. He left my speechless. Like my mind just went blank so I thought a kiss was good enough for my response."

"Mhmmm, What did Mikey do after the kiss?" 

"He blushed and changed the subject. We talked for awhile until he had to leave.." I said.

"How long was this?" She questioned as shut the ice tub while leaving it on my desk nearby. She turned around to turn her focus on me.

"About four days ago, which I don't know if I did something wrong that night. And I tried calling and texting him the next day but no answer. Which I'm starting to worry, I don't know if he was expecting a different response from me. I mean it was the sweetest thing I ever heard from a guy, but maybe me freaking out freaked him out too. I'm just not used to it I guess... UGH! Now I feel guilty what if he breaks up with me?! What if... WHAT IF H-"  A hand was swung to my mouth to stop my talking. I looked over at Val and I could tell she was slightly annoyed of my panicking.

"I'm gonna to remove my hand and you better calm down okay?" She warned. I nodded and her hand was removed from my lips.

"Look I'm sure he has a good reason for not talking to you these past four days. I mean he is a ninja that saves the world so can you blame him? Now your a good girlfriend and you have a great boyfriend, you both  make eachother happy so I know he's not gonna break up with you. If so I might have to slap his head acouple of times." She laughed. I smiled just a little, knowing that this 'pep' talk was cheering me up.

"How's you and Raph?" I asked changing the subject.

"Ugh don't get me started, we always argure!... Just yesterday we got into another fight and I've been ignoring his texts. I just need a break you know?" 

"Well I guess we both need a break."

"You said it!" She said as we both fell back and landed on my pillows groaning in annoyance. I pulled out my phone and pulled up Youtube. I watched random video until an AD caught my eye. I tap on the AD and watched it .

"Do you like to party and love to glam up?

Well join us at the Summer Ball!, Everyone will be there including celebs. So find your best dress and your best heels and we can't wait to see you! Want more information , it's down in the description below.."

( I know it sounds corny lol)

"Let's see the ball will be at (Random Address)..." I mumbled reading the description of the AD.

"What's this I hear.. a 'Ball'?" Val asked nudging my arm.

"Yea,wanna go? It starts in 3 hours..."

"You know you have to wear a dress and heels. And last time I check you walk like a newborn deer in heels." She snickered. I smacked her arm and ran to my closet and started to search for my heels.

"I'm not that bad in them, Plus the heels on these babies aren't even that high." I said holding a pair of silver heels. I toss them on the bed and search for a green dress that ended buying for prom not ending up going because my date stood me up. I placed the green dress wrapped in plastic on my bed smoothly. I saw that Val's face lit in awe as she examined on every detail on the dress.
