Too Close

XXXIV

《 Ellea's POV 》

It's been four months since Zane and I got engaged and for the past week I've been feeling sick. Zane had been there through it all and so has Griffin.

As we get married in two more months and everything  has been going smoothly. We decided to invite his sibling and his uncle.

Right now Griffin and I are getting my dressed fitted. I found it two months ago and Griffin loved it. When he saw me in it he cried and got up and kissed me. He told me I was his beautiful baby girl and he is so happy for me.

I feel sick and I ask the lady to help me out really quick. I get out just in time too. I rush over to the trashcan and throw up.

When I finish I rest against the wall and the lady ask am I okay.

"Yeah I'm fine. I think I may me getting a stomach bug or something."

"Do you want to try on your dress still or reschedule?"

"I'm fine we can continue " I say

After about two minutes we are tying up my dress. When I walk out Griffin is standing there worried.

"I'm fine hon." I say before kissing his cheek and standing back for him to look at me. "

"It looks great baby maybe tying it tighter on the wedding day?"

I smile and kiss his cheek again and get out of the dress.   When we get home I start feeling sick again.  When Zane get in and sees me on the couch hurling he rush over and smoothes back my hair.

"What's wrong baby?"

"I don't know. I've been throwing up for two hours. " I say turning on my other side.

I don't know when but I fall asleep and when I wake up I feel  better. I walk in the kitchen to fine Zane and Griffin on the floor sleep. I smile and sit between them. I caress their hair and smile.

I wake them up and they smile sleepily at me.  I tell them to go to bed and they just say " We don't want to catch what you got."

"Well what if it's not something you can catch?"

"Still two of us have to go to work." Zane says.

"Honey I'm going to work."

"I figured you'd say that."

"Look Danni you are sick. I'm take you to the doctor in the morning. "

"But....."

"No buts Danni. I'm take you noe go back to bed."

"After I eat. " I say before fixing me a fruit salad.

"Why are you two on the kitchen floor?"

"Fuck when we were washing dishes ending up staying here." Zane says snuggling closer to Griffin.

"At least get in the couch."

"Okay." Griffin says before sitting up. He pulls Zane on top of him and Zane wraps his legs around him before Griffin stands and goes into the living room and get in the couch.

I finish my fruit and go check in my boys before going back to bed.

I don't know how long laid there but it felt like forever. I look at the clock and see it's almost time to get up so I decide to go take a bath.

Griffin kiss my hand and the doctor walks in.

"So brings you in tody?"

"She been throwing up and feeling sick all the time."

"Griffin let me talk." I say before looking at the doctor "I think I my have a stomach flu or something. My stomach was hurting all last week and I was throwing up for hours yesterday and had a terrible headach. "

"Could you be pregnant?"

"Ummm I could." I say looking at Griffin.

His face and body are playing it cool but his eyes tell a different story.

"Well how about we draw some blood and run some test. How does that sound?" the doctor ask.

" That sounds good to me, along with the stomach flu test right?" I ask

" Yes and I recommend that the you go ahead and look into some car seats and things. I know when I found out I was pregnant I did not know wither to just have my husband just look for the baby stuff while I worked or just.... It just a little overwhelming is all I am saying." She says when she sees my face of confusion

"Trust I know" Griffin says softly

" How do you know?" I ask him

" Zane and I talked about it when you were sleep last night. I'll tell you all about it when you get home okay?"

" Sure now lets get these test done." I say

After Griffin take me back to my place I decide to nap before going and getting myself a pregnancy test. After I take it I decide to make myself some lunch.

I take another nap before getting up and making dinner for two. When Zane comes in and sees me eating he kiss my and takes a bite of my chicken.

"What was your day?"

"Sleeping." I say as turl my noodles on my fork.

"Well we got the studio and the promotion at work. The project is finish all I need is your approval before turning it in. Oh and we have a honeymoon. So I had a good day."

"Good to know. Want to plan some more or the wedding?"

"All night?"

"All night!" I say smiling Zane kiss me before sitting down.

We finish dinner before planning the rest of our wedding.
