Chapter 3

        I followed Cam quickly, but not before looking over my shoulder to find Elizabeth. Of course, Nash was already all over her. I was happy for her. Both of our dreams are beginning to come true, and it hasn't even started yet! I felt like I was on top of the world, what a great day this was already. The boys had that effect on you, could make you beyond happy with just a simple hug. Cam gave me a quick hug before turning me around to the Jacks, Shawn, Matt, and Taylor.

        "Guys, meet Mykenna. The most beautiful girl here, by far." Cam said as he pushed me forward slightly. The Jacks, Matt and Taylor, all gave me a hug and said hi. Shawn stood slightly off to the side, looking shy. After I was done with the other guys, they moved in other directions to meet other fans. Shawn rushed towards me and gave me the best hug I've ever been given in my entire life. I melted into his arms, he smelled like mint soap and oddly enough, fresh strawberries. I breathed him in, gosh he was so much taller than me. At least 5 inches taller, he lifted me up a little so my face fit perfect into the crook of his neck. It felt like the hug lasted forever.

          When he let me go, I realized it had been seconds long, but in his eyes I could see that he felt it too. But wait, what? This was Shawn. I like Shawn and all but Cam's my favorite. I'm meant for Cam. Woah, slow down, I thought. Okay, yes, I wasn't stupid enough to imagine us together, but ya know, dreams can come true. Shawn smiled at me, his lazy eye was as cute as ever today. I had always loved the way he hated his eyes, while thousands of people loved them.

        "Well Mykenna, I have to disagree with Cam. You aren't the most beautiful girl here." He said as I saw him blush. I knew this would happen, not being good enough for them. I felt my heart sink. I knew I was being dramatic, how silly of me to get my hopes up.

         "You happen to be the most beautiful girl in the entire world." He looked deep in my eyes then away, I knew he was sincere when he said this though. In this moment, I felt like I had just won the lottery. I was called beautiful quite often, although I did not see it, but this was different. Cam laughed his amazing laugh, and put his arm around my waist, pulling me right next to him. Our bodies connected at the hip, and I swear my heart skipped several beats.

        "She's amazing, any guy would be lucky to have her." He winked as they stepped away "See ya in a couple of minutes, on stage!" Nash yelled to Elizabeth as they all walked to a small room next to the VIP room. Elizabeth and I just stared at each other and grinned so hard it hurt.
