Unexpected // sm

Chapter 13

        Four days later, Elizabeth and I were eating some popcorn while watching the movie Frozen. I found it hilarious because she had a huge crush on the prince. I had been texting Cam for a while when suddenly he stopped texting me. He was awake, obviously as he was posting updates on twitter. I suddenly got up, with an idea to come up there and surprise him.

        "Let's go sneak up on Cam and scare him, Elizabeth!" I said as I grabbed her hand pulling her out the door.

          She was giggling, as I knew she loved pranks. We got to his room he shared with Nash, (All the other boys were out at a movie), and grabbed the key card I knew they left just under the door. I silently opened the door, and we crawled inside. The lights were off with the curtains closed, so it was pitch black. I heard a weird sound, almost like light scratching and a different wet sound. We found the light, as Elizabeth counted down, 3...2...1...

        "Gotcha!" We screamed in unison as she flipped the lights on.

          Instantly I felt like I had been punched in the stomach. I look ahead and saw the worst thing I could of ever seen. Elizabeth started screaming but I didn't hear her. All I could think was, Was this real what I was witnessing?
