The ride couldn't have been any worse. I mean not only was Shawn way bigger than Matt, meaning he was taller and built broader, but Matt has the smallest legs I have ever seen for a guy. So I was not sitting even, Shawn's lap was a good two inches higher. Awkward.

I was on my phone scrolling through twitter when I felt the car take a sharp right turn. I tried to balance myself as easily as possible, but that made it worse. I accidentally, well, fell onto Shawn's lap completely. Like I was laying, stomach down, on his lap. Well this was.. awkward. Man this whole day was awkward. I nervously glanced up to check Shawn's face, and immediately felt his hand low on my opposite hip, pulling me up gently.

But not to my original spot. Straight on his lap. No, Shawn. No. I made up my mind. You are screwing it all up! I gently put the palm of my hands on each of his knees, and attempted to position myself easier. That didn't help. He was huge compared to me. And I wasn't short. At all. But man, Shawn was like an extra large blanket. No, no he was not fat by any means. Just towering. I loved it. I slightly jumped when I realized I had been staring at him.

"Oh, I'm-.. I didn't-.. Um, sorry." I sputtered out and turned around to face the rest of the group. All staring at us of course. Yippee. I felt Shawn lean forward slightly, then his fingers move a piece of hair away from my neck.

"I didn't pull you onto me accidently." His lips gently brushed my ear and I felt my face go red. Oh man. Shawn, stop being irresistable. Seriously. He continued to move the hair away from the back of my neck on the rest of the trip. About 10 minutes. He sure took his time. A girl liked that.

Okay, I know that doesn't sound right. But it's true. Before I knew it, the car pulled to a stop and people were filing out of the door to our right. Shawn winked at me before slipping out from underneath me and moved to the door. I was about to follow when I felt the familiar touch on my butt. Matt. I whipped around and saw him smiling like a idiot.

"Oops, was that me? Again?" He smirked and grabbed my hand as he scooted past me to the door, pulling me after him. I reluctantly followed and squinted at the blinding light. Man, I loved this town. Always cheery. No matter what mood I was in. I was walking after Matt when my foot lazily slipped on the curb and I fell forward. I screamed directly before I felt my body collide with the hard pavement. I landed on my left side, crushing my left arm. My head took the other half of the impact. Man I've got to stop hitting my head on the ground everywhere.

"Oh my hell, Mykenna, are you okay?" Matt blurted quickly as he kneeled down to me. "I... I fell." I muttered back at him. A large hand slipped under me, along my left waist, pulling me up. At first I thought it was Matt. But, big hands? Of course it was Shawn. Always my hero, he was. He gently set me on my feet and leaned down, looking into my eyes, his hand still on my waist.

"Kenna, are you okay? What happened? Did you trip?" He asked quickly, looking me up and down for any visible injuries. "I'm fine. It was just a fall." I assured him and looked over to see Matt was already walking inside the large doors. Okay, that's fine Matt. Leave the wounded girl on the sidewalk. Shawn bent down, I thought to maybe check my legs, but he actually swooped me up into his arms. Carrying me bride style, like Matt once did.

"Mr. Mendes, at your service Miss." I giggled as he smiled, actually smiled, and took us inside the building, for today's event.

Also the day I would choose who I wanted. No pressure or anything, right?
