Like silence, but not really...

Stacy's POV:
After Lin and Groff started to get ready I received a text from Jazzy:
Jazzy:
That blush is not gonna be
fully covered on stage. Come by
for an extra coating and tips? x

Me:
Sure! Be there in 5 xxx

I told Lin and Jon I needed to go to the bathroom noting Lin's chuckle under his breath. Boys. Then, once excused, I made my way towards Jazzy's dressing room.
"Hey girl! I found some cream foundation which should work since the powder just rubs off."
I nodded and sat down as she supplied the cream to my cheeks. Ugh. Why did Lin have to go crazy today? It did feel good though... Shut up Stacy! I blinked out of my thoughts focusing on the task at hand, Jazzy had almost finished and just needed to cover the top of my cheek again. Lin sure got me this time.
"All done! Should be fine on stage, now any queries on the choreography or anything?"
"Yes. Any way to make Lin lose his cool on stage with the choreography?"
She thought for a bit then nodded explaining possible ways to get him to lose character. Me and Jazzy then went to the control room switching off all the casts speakers as we told the audience I would be playing Maria. We then turned them all back on again for the five minute call. Here goes nothing.
I wanted Lin to be completely shocked, meaning not seeing me in the Maria costume backstage before the song. So Jazzy decided to put on the costume then give Lin a thumbs up in the intro of the song which he returned just before the spotlight fell on him. I had about 45 seconds to get in that dress.
"I hadn't slept in a week,
I was weak I was awake,
You've never seen a bastard orphan more in need of a break,
Longing for Angelica,
Missing my wife,
That's when Miss Maria Reynolds walked into my life she said:"
Lin did a double take on me when I began singing then I could swear a spark appeared I his eyes. He quickly resumed character as I finished my verse in order for him to say his lines however in the whole song, unlike with Jazzy, he never broke eye-contact whenever we conversed. He is supposed to look at the audience, at the ceiling and at the floor at different points but he never does. After a few verses it got to the bit I was looking forward to, by the look on his face he was too.
"If you can pay you can staaaayyyyyyy!"
Jazzy gave me a thumbs up telling me to do it now. So as he was singing I turned my head towards his neck, as choreographed but whispered into it "Chico amante"
"Lord show me how to say no to this,
I do-don't know how to say no to this,"
I smiled, phase three worked: distracting him on stage. Now for the grand finale:
"When her body's on mine I do not say,"
"NO!"
"Yeeesss"
"Yeeesssss"
"Yeeesss"
"Yeeeeeeheeeeeeyyyeeeeeessssssss"
"Yeeesss"
"Yeeeeeeessssssssssss!"
Jazzy gave me a thumbs up again and I lightly stroked his upper thigh before getting of his lap. The act wasn't ignored though as Lin's manhood stood erect, and I saw a flash of panic in his eyes realising he now has to stand in front of the audience centre-stage. Ha. To my surprise though he sat down on the chair for his line keeping his legs clamped shut as I tried not to smile watching him from behind.
"Nobody needs to know."
I then shared eye-contact with him before walking off stage slightly smirking at his glare. Looks like Stacy can be in control sometimes hmm? After getting off stage I was congratulated by Jon and Jazzy as we laughed
"Stace you literally played him right off then" Jon said, clearly shocked.
"I know!" I said laughing with him as Jazzy high-fived me. Mission accomplished. Leslie then came running in
"Stacy there you are, Lin's looking for you and he is a mixture of angry and horny. I would hide if I were you if you don't want the car episode to repeat."
I nodded and frantically looked for some place to hide. The supply closet? I got in and whispered for Jon to lock the door
"He wrote the musical Stace, he's got all the keys to all the doors."
Well that's great. Pippa came running up to me and ushered me to a secret opening in the girls dressing room which no-one knows about. Well apart from someone. I thought as I climbed in with the stash of cookies.
Everyone applauded when I heard the show end but it just increased my worry. This means Lin will definitely look for me, as in 'not going to leave the theatre without her' look for me. Everyone retreated to their dressing rooms but Lin was relentless, bounding in to every room in the theatre till he reached the one I was in last.
"WHERE IS SHE?!"
"Who?" Pippa asked, feigning innocence.
"STACY. WHERE IS SHE?!"
"We haven't seen her."
"BULLSHIT. SHE'S IN HERE. TELL ME WHERE SHE IS NOW OR YOU'RE FIRED."
Okay now I'm screwed.
As predicted the girls slowly opened the latch to where I was and I looked up to see Lin's smirk.
"Found you."
His face darkened as he picked me up signalling a taxi to take us home. Is he going to make another episode? Should I sit in the front or back? Lin answered this question as he sat me in the back seat and buckled me in
"Lin I can buckle myself in."
"Hmmm, and you can also get changed into Maria's dress in 45 seconds."
I flinched under his glare as he moved to sit in the back with me. He didn't talk or touch me the whole journey nor request a song, it was simply silence. An uncomfortable silence too. After half an hour of complete torture the taxi slowed to a stop outside the house. I moved to leave the car but Lin held me down while he payed the driver so I stayed put while he left the car and moved to take me from the car seat. Unbuckling the seatbelt too, he carried me to the door pausing to get the keys to unlock it and then sat me on the sofa in the living room. I made sure not to move while he took his coat off, turned the kettle on and numerous other things he usually does once we get home. He entered the living room after what felt like ages closing the door behind him and crouched facing me. I averted my eyes from his glare to look around the room: it seemed darker than usual, maybe because he closed the door? No, maybe it was just the heat of the moment. I looked back at Lin quickly blushing to realise he hadn't stopped glaring at me. I squirmed beneath his gaze as he shortly picked me up taking me to the bedroom. So this is what Leslie was worried about. He lay me on the bed then moved to close the door and windows inside the room so I decided to break the silence:
"What, are you going to murder me Lin?" I awkwardly laughed.
"Don't give me ideas Stacy."
Okay. So he's super mad. He then closed the blinds of the windows making the room almost pitch black. Just don't kill me Lin. Still facing the window he growled:
"Let the night begin."

AN: OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH Lin is mad!!!! It was fun to write this chapter but I don't really know why lol. See ya in the next one! Don't be afraid to vote or comment if you're enjoying it too! I am 😇😝✌
