Lin's POV: Great. Not only is there a damn parade, it is fucking fancy dress. Yippee. "Come on sweetie, it'll be fine!" "What?" "Fancy dress will be fun!" Oh I said that out loud... "Yeah can't wait!" "The sarcasm was dripping off of that sentence." "I apologise sincerely but I cannot concentrate with you calling me sweetie." "Do you not like it?" "No I fucking love it." She giggled cutely as I savoured the sound Stacy, Stacy, love her like crazy. Hmm use that in your wedding vows. I blinked out of my phase with a small sense of achievement in finding a beautiful rhyme to match an equally beautiful girl. "Umm earth to Lin? Hello?" "Please don't call me Lin again Hun." She giggled her cute laugh again "Okay then sweetie." "God your voice makes that word sound amazing!" "Well let's go get changed then!" "Alright see ya!" Stacy quickly turned around and fled to the ladies changing rooms. Why they have changing rooms for a parade I'll never know but that's parades I guess. Hell for the drivers hell for the people. I turned around heading for the men's changing rooms to scan the costumes. After a while I found a perfect costume. It was a demon costume but was not so scary and more alluring in my opinion, I got changed and left to see Stacy's option.
Stacy's POV: I was glad I got that head start off of Lin. I found the best costume which did everything for my figure, it was short but not too short and I felt sexy trying it on. Let's hope Lin likes it!
Lin's POV: After waiting a while I saw Stacy emerge from the changing rooms and whistled as she approached "My fucking God Hun, how sexy you look right now." "Same for you sweetie!" That name! Agh! The way it comes out of her red lips forcing her to smile and her eyes, how they light up! She saw me staring. Oh god. She's biting her lip. Deep breaths Lin, don't get too excited it's just a name. A fairy came up and tapped me on the shoulder signalling for us to join the parade. Now or never I guess. While marching in the parade I couldn't keep my eyes off of Stacy. Those boots made her legs look way longer than I remembered them to be and that costume. I'm buying that so she can wear it every Halloween. It can add to my daily reminder each day of how amazing she truly is. "Lin. Stop staring." Stacy harshly whispered across to me. "Why? You look sexy as hell!" "Thanks sweetie but we need to look like we're marching for the parade and not for town with each other." "Got it." After saying that I got a text stating there was a ball for all actors/actresses and their spouse to go to in which we were invited. "Wanna go to a ball after town?" "Umm... Sure sweetie! I successfully didn't look at her for the rest of the march but nudged her when a huge crowd appeared so we could slip away. Me and her sprinted to a clothing shop grabbing the first nice thing off the hangers we saw to get changed since we were unable to carry our previous clothes through the march. I left the changing room in a black and white suit with a handkerchief and everything whilst Stacy, my beloved, surprised me again in a stunning blue dress:

"Hun, are you deliberately teasing me or just being coincidentally sexy today? I really need to know before I lose control." She blushed fiddling with the layers of her dress as a hair strand fell from behind her ear, I rushed to tuck it back again and kissed her afterwards feeling her smile against my lips. We then rushed to the till asking if we could stay in these clothes while we bought them, to which they eventually agreed to. I saw the worker adding up the costs and quickly covered Stacy's ears: "That'll be $240 please." I paid by card as Stacy looked at me accusingly and the worker laughed at our classic couple behaviour. After a while my phone beeped again showing a text from Jon: Groffsauce: You invited to the ball thingy?
Me: Yep. Need a lift from town though...
Groffsauce: I guess I'll have to take you there now...
Me: Yippee. Pick up at 6.
Groffsauce: You make it sound like a date...
Me: ._.
Groffsauce: Not like that would be a bad idea or anything...
Me: I am straight. I have a fiancé. I am in a HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP!!!!!!!!
Groffsauce: *crying in corner* 6:00 it is!
After laughing at Jon's weirdness I looked at the time: 5:45. We had 15 minutes for me to educate Stacy on what tonight was. "Okay Hun, so this is a formal ball with only actors and their spouses. Don't get drunk since its your first ball but do try and find people who are interested in your arts. Not your sexy body." "LIN!" I groaned and whined back at her "You said you would call me sweetie!" She chuckled and ushered for me to continue, "You'll know lots of people, don't take a drink if someone gives it to you. If the bartender looks serious then you can take a drink off him. If he starts flirting then don't. Don't go anywhere upstairs unless you're going with me and don't dance with anyone you don't know. If you get drunk and start dancing on the table I cannot guarantee that I will stop you immediately because I'll probably watch for a while to entertain myself and then escort you out." "Real smooth." I simply sang back: "You're welcome!" She rolled her eyes and laughed at my childishness while I smiled listening to her adorably. Afterwards I moved to kiss her and she obliged biting my lip for entry. I gasped at her sudden confidence but fought back as I won dominance. "Ever thought about everyone else seeing you playing tonsil tennis hmmm?" "Hi Jon" I lamely replied. "Well your clothes are still intact so I guess you're improving" I raised my middle finger as he laughed and gestured for us to enter his car. Stacy moved to sit in the back as I jogged to the opposite door to join her, quickly stopped from doing so by Jon. "Uh Uh! You can make her come anywhere but not in my car please." "Jon I wasn't goin-" "Thank you!" He practically shoved me in the front and began to drive. I looked in the mirror seeing Stacy's face as red as a tomato looking back at me. She stuck her tongue out while I smirked. My Stacy.
