Lin's POV:
I fell to my knees when I read those words, I really have lost her. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and called my parents
"Hello?"
"Sh-She's gone."
"What? Lin what's going on?!"
I ended the call. The less people who know about that neighbourhood the better. Running back across the bridge I resisted going to scream at the damned till guy who made me lose my fiancé and continued to the taxis.
"Can I help?"
I vaguely remembered Stacy's address telling him what I knew of it.
"Sorry mate but that's too far -wait. You the Hamilton guy?"
"Look, I am in desperate need of a lift. If you take me there I'll... I dunno... Give you my autograph?"
"Deal."
I nodded climbing into the car and ran a hand through my tangled hair. She said she loved me. She swore at me. She thinks I'm making her raise our child by herself. Fuck.
"So... What's the hurry?"
"C-Can we not talk about it? I know you want to have a conversation and all since it's a long drive but I just... I can't talk right now."
He silently nodded his head as I relaxed in the backseat, all this taxi did was remind me of me and Stacy together in the taxis and the havoc we made. A single tear slid down my cheek. It was happening too fast for my mind to comprehend. I've really lost her. I've really lost my Stacy. It began to rain outside, the weather perfectly reflecting my mood. Pathetic Fallacy, yippee. The sarcasm only made it worse though as my heart was in two. I've never experienced heartbreak before but now I understand Vanessa's pain. I'm 37 and I've already broken two hearts not including my own. The car drew to a halt and as far as the eye could see there was traffic. Great. I have well and truly lost my Stacy.

Stacy's POV:
I watched as the train slowed down at my stop. Here goes. As soon as I left the train I sat on a nearby bench and called Jon.
"Hey Stace!"
"Jon?"
"You don't sound happy..."
"Lin broke up with me."
"HE WHAT?!"
"I told him I was pregnant yesterday and at first he seemed happy but he told me today he wasn't ready for a child and left."
"Congrats on pregnancy and all but I don't think that is a thing Lin would do."
"Well he fucking did it Jon"
"I'm gonna pick you up. Where are you?"
I took a deep breath. I can trust him right?
"My old house."
"God. In one day you both fucked up."
"I heard that."
"You were meant to."
He ended the call as I blinked in disbelief. Wow. I've been surprised by two men today, they both seemed nice but turned out to be dicks. I made my way over to my old house waiting for Jon's car.
"Get in."
"That was quick!"
"Shortcut through the countryside. Get in."
"How do I know you haven't called him."
"Who?"
"You know... Him."
"For gods sake of course I haven't! Now get in before you get murdered like everybody else who comes here."
"W-What if I want t-to -"
"To what?"
"D-Die."
He then got out of the car slamming his door and walked over to me opening the door to the passenger seat and forcing me inside. He put my door on child lock then proceeded to get in on his side.
"Child lock?"
"Your acting like a child."
"Excuse me?"
"Your heartbroken and pregnant. Your hormones are going mental and I swear to god if you actually mean it about dying I'm calling Lin."
I went silent then. He knew he had me.
"So?"
"I-I didn't mean it about dying..."
He rolled his eyes,
"You really are avoiding him aren't you?"
"He fucking gave up on our family! I want nothing to do with him!"
"But do you mean that? If Lin walked out from behind a tree or something would you scream at him? Or would you run to him saying how sorry you were and all that love stuff?"
I went silent to which he simply nodded his head.
"Where do you want me to take you?"
"Away."
"From what?"
"What the fuck do you think? Lin probably knows I'm here by now so take me somewhere no-one will find me."
"I'm calling Lin."
My head darted to his hands as he raised the phone to his ear, with that I turned the child lock off and ran away from the car, hopefully to wherever Jon won't find me.
"STACY!"
I kept running through shrubs, busy roads, gardens, anywhere. I didn't want anyone to find me. Jon's footsteps were sounding heavily signalling he was tired but near, I knew if I ran he would see me so I hid instead behind brambles.
"STACY? STACY?! STACY! FUCK!"
He began pacing quickly in circles on the phone to Lin.
"I lost her."
"Look I'm sorry but she's hella fast and since she darted off so quickly I-"
"I don't even know. I'm in some sort of forest area? It's by a busy road swarmed by traffic if that helps."
"K see you soon."
I rummaged around the dirt near me. I recognised this place from my childhood hence why I ran here. Digging underground with my fingers I finally felt it, my father taught me how to whittle and here I buried the sharpest weapon he carved. It is a spear-head like object. I promised my dad I would never hurt anyone with it but I need information on the whereabouts of Lin.
"Where is he?"
"Fuck Stace!"
He jumped smiling but quickly his expression changed when he saw the weapon.
"S-Stacy..."
"Where is he?!"
"H-He's on the road next to us in traffic, promise me you won't run."
"Can't promise anything anymore. Where's your car?"
"Ages away."
"Where's your car!"
"For you about a two minute run away."
"Give me the keys."
"S-Stacy a-are you sure?"
"Give me the fucking keys!"
He threw them on the ground next to my feet as I quickly put my foot on top of them.
"L-Look Stacy, we've had so many good times together us two. D-Do you re-really w-want to k-kill me?"
"Jon. You're amazing. Of course I'm not going to kill you. But I need you to promise me one thing."
"W-What?"
"Do not tell Lin."
"I... Stacy..."
"If you truly are there for me, this proves it overall. Don't tell Lin and I'll stay in contact with you in the future. Tell you how I'm doing etcetera. Tell Lin and neither of you will hear of me again."
"Are you blackmailing me?"
"Of course."
I took my hand out for him to shake and smiled when he shook hands.
"I'll talk to you later Jonathan Groff."
"And you Stacy Woods."
I frowned remembering how Lin used to call me Stacy Miranda but I guess I'll never get that title. I drew a sharp breath, picked up the keys and ran back to the car opening the door and slamming it shut behind me. I then locked the car and threw the keys out the window closing the window too. No one can get in and I can't get out. In the corner of my eye I saw a ditch leading to the river below it, if I just accelerate it'll be over with. I got out a pen and paper writing a quick note:

Dear Lin:
And here lies the family you were
too heartless to raise. If our child
survives this please give them a
good life. Raise them as your own
and make sure to give them a
goodnight kiss from me every night.
Give them the surname Miranda
since it was all I wished for myself
and support them no matter what.
I hope you give them the love I never
received and I hope you spoil them
as much as you spoilt me.
I always loved you,
Adios mi amor.

With that I held my breath, closed my eyes, and accelerated into the river before me, as the car hit the ground and the pain seared I whispered
"Te amo Lin, siempre y para siempre."
