Jon's POV:
I laughed as Andy proceeded to grab a dishcloth and soak it in the soapy water.
"What are you -?"
Then proceeded to wipe it across my face.
"To answer your question. It gets more water on you. More effective."
I rolled my eyes grabbing the soaked dishcloth to wipe my face dry with, then glared at him realising what he'd done.
"Guess you'll have to use your sleeve."
He left the kitchen chuckling to himself and I finished the washing up.
"ANDY?"
"YES BABE?"
"ARE YOU GONNA DRY THE DISHES?"
"WHAT WITH THAT DISH CLOTH? NO THANKS! LET IT DRY NATURALLY."
I left the bowls on the drying rack then found Andy working on his computer.
"Whatcha doing?"
"Job."
"I thought you were doing the café?"
"I quit when I saw you."
"Huh?"
"I was working daily and I knew if I wanted you I had to quit to spend time with you."
"Flattery won't get you everywhere. Sir Rannells."
"Don't worry, I have other methods. And if you call me Sir again you're gonna see them real quick."
I blushed as he winked at me then looked back down to his laptop.
"Just a question."
"Go ahead."
"On a scale of 1 to 10 how kinky are you?"
"That's for me to know and you to find out."
"Even that was kinky!"
"Touché."
He remained eyes glued to the screen as he did numerous financial codes and math stuff. I guess he's the smart one out of the two of us.
"Are you gonna sit there drooling at me all day? Cause I'm so close to losing control you have no idea."
"Just pretend I'm not here."
"When you look like that? Couldn't if I tried."
I shrugged fiddling with the hem of my shirt with the background noise of his computer keys tapping away.
"I'm warning you Jon."
"I'm not doing anything!"
"You're biting your lip. Do you seriously expect me to not notice that?"
"Not doing a good job of pretending I'm not here are you?"
"Don't think I'll ever be able of doing that."
I smiled and lightly kissed him in the cheek before going upstairs to go through fan mail. I aimed to get through half a bag by the end of the day. Writing replies of course. It was time consuming but the people deserved it and some were really quite entertaining to read. I picked up my pen as I read through the first piece of mail from the bag. Lin. Of course it was Lin, he'd been trying to get hold of me for weeks. I opened another yet to see his handwriting and the pure ink on the envelope gave it all away. Guess I didn't really need to do much. After going back down the stairs I visited Andy again yet to see he was finishing up.
"Almost done?"
"Almost."
"I'm bored"
"That's cause I'm being boring."
"How did you work that out?"
"Please. This is the second time you're down here in the past 7 minutes."
"I just get bored quickly."
"Or you're really clingy."
"I am not clingy!"
"Are too."
"Am not!"
"Are too."
"Am not!"
"If you can last an hour in here without distracting me at all, or trying to divert me. I'll say you aren't a clingy boyfriend."
"An hour!"
"At least."
I closed my eyes and nodded despite the fact this is going to be so boring for me.
"Do we have a deal?"
He held out a hand which I shook rapidly.
"Yes Sir I think we do."
"Don't call me sir in the next hour."
"Why? How do you react when I call you Sir?"
He took a shaky breath then turned and walked away.
"Hour starts now!"
Now what the hell do I do. I turned on the TV and flicked through the channels but none gave any appeal to me. I lived the single life, it's no stress to relive through some of the things I did right? Fuck this. I walked right over to Andy hugging him from behind.
"Do you want me to remind you -"
"Nope. I'm just a clingy boyfriend."
He laughed as I rested my head on his shoulder and he rested his on mine.
"Let's be less strangers."
"Grammar?"
"No like, I know your name, favourite colour and the fact you're clingy. About time we learnt something else?"
I nodded as we sat down on the sofa and fired random questions at each other taking turns.
"Favourite animal?"
"Turtle. Musicals or plays?"
"Musicals 100%."
We continued for hours on end. I was running out of questions but it seemed Andy's were never ending.
"Favourite cupcake icing?"
"Chocolate or vanilla."
"Good. I've got both in the cupboard."
I then sprinted as I heard him laughing behind me. If I need anything right now, it's sugar. Sugar to energise, sugar to forget. I took a chocolate one first.
"Uh vanilla then?"
"Yeah?"
"Is cupcakes the only situation where you like vanilla?"
He raised his eyebrows smirking as my eyes darted to and fro. If I ran away he'd catch me, if I'd blush he'd tease me. It was a dead end. I decided an escape would have a higher chance.
"Oh no you don't."
Without moving he wrapped his arm around my waist to stop me from going any further.
"I want an answer."
"To a question like that?"
"Yes. Problem?"
"It's embarrassing and plain awkward."
"Only if you make it so. Breathe in, breathe out and perform."
I nodded.
"Fine. I too like Vanilla in the bedroom but not all the time. Sir needs to show me who's boss occasionally."
I walked away content with myself as Andy's eyes darkened while he watched me go. If he wanted to play difficult so will I. If he wants to ask personal questions I'll give personal answers.
"I believe it's time for lunch."
I looked behind my shoulder and smirked at him.
"And no, I'm not in the menu. Not today."
