CHAPTER 28: SANDRA VS TOBY

Sandra didn't even look like herself anymore. She had a long black long sleeved dress on and her hair was up in a bun. A group of our men ran towards her ready to attack. A long chain with the usual knife on the end of it came out of both her sleeves. "ATTACK TOGETHER!" One of the men attacking her screamed and they all leaped at her at once. But in one swift move Sandra swung her chain around the area and everyone in the area was sliced in two. The move was so quick no one knew they were dead till they hit the ground.

"Great" Derek said sarcastically and he rushed towards her. "Hey Sandra are you still in there?!" Derek yelled as he ran at her. Sandra seen him coming and with a wave of both her arms she swung both chains at Derek. Derek leaped up about 10 feet in the air. The chains missed him and broke the ground in contact. "I guess that means you're not!" Derek yelled as he pointed his arm at her in midair. Suddenly a large black fire ball shot out of his arm. The ball of fire hit Sandra full on.

The explosion shook the whole place with a loud BOOM! There was no way anyone could survive a shot like that. Derek landed to the ground in front of all the black fire and ash he just created. I ran up and grabbed him by the shoulder forcibly turning him towards me. "Derek was that dark magic? Are you crazy you could've killed Sandra!" I yelled. Derek just shrugged "Toby she's not Sandra anymore, I had to-" Derek was cut off as two knifes stabbed right through his back and out of his chest.

He was suddenly pulled back into the air and smacked back down to the ground destroying the concrete. I noticed the two chains impaled in Dereks back. I looked up and seen Sandra get back up from the fire. The chains retracted from Dereks back and returned to Sandras sleeves. "Sandra it's us you have to fight it!" I yelled. Sandra looked at me with no expression on her face. Suddenly she threw both her knifes at me. I focused my energy and formed a shield of light floating in front of me. But Sandras knifes periced right through it destroying the shield. I reacted quickly and caught both knifes before they hit my face.

Phew that was close if I wasn't careful she would've stabbed my eyes out. Good thing these knifes weren't long enough to reach me. Suddenly I was pulled forward towards Sandra. Both her hands caught fire. Oh no she's going to destroy me, just like how she did to the guy at my school when we first met. I pulled on the chains using the momentum to do a back flip over Sandras head. She struck but missed as I went over her head. I landed behind her and swiftly slid my arm under her feet tripping her.

She fell on her side, I took the opportunity while she was down to form water. A blast of water from me hand hit her dead on wetting her whole body. "Im not done yet!" I yelled. I knew this move was going to exhaust most of the magic energy I had but it had to be done, or else Sandra would kill us all. "Blizzard" I whispered. The air around me started to move and blow around everything. The temperature dropped and snow started to form. "Sorry about this" I apologized.

Suddenly there was a loud SWOOSH and everything within a few yards of me froze solid. I fell to my knees breathing hard. I wasted a lot of mana on that attack, I've reached my limit. I looked up and seen Sandras knife right in front of my face. "Ahh" I yelled as I fell on my back. The knife was frozen in place follwed by the long frozen chain and finally an ice statue of Sandra throwing her chain, she was frozen. I sighed in relief, she almost killed me. Suddenly someone from behind grabbed my shoulder.

In a panic I threw my fist back but it was caught before I made contact. "Relax yourself" Velro said as he helped me up. "Oh sorry Velro I didn't-" "no time for that I must get you and Derek out of here" he said as he rushed me towards the exit. "Why? The fights not over yet" I said. "It is for you, Cindy is here". I stopped in my tracks "so what that piece of garbage ruined my life, I'll kill her myself!" I said. Velro shook his head "no Toby, Majesta thinks you and Derek are dead. If she spots you she'll tell Majesta and the element of surprise will be lost" Velro explained.

"Not to mention she can raise the dead" Derek said as he approached me and Velro. His whole right arm was frozen still. "Next time warn me when you decide to make a snow cone okay, I barely got out of your blast radius and im faster then the speed of light!" He complained. "Sorry" I apologized. "Oh my gosh WE HAVE NO TIME FOR THIS SHE'LL BE HERE ANY SECOND!" Velro screamed. "Fine fine we're going" I said as me and Derek ran off.

We weren't the only ones heading towards the exit, almost all of our people were retreating. We got to the back of the camp site and into a large pipe that lead into the sewers. Once we were there me Derek Velro and everyone else found a manhole and crawled out onto the streets to safety.
