CHAPTER 34: TOBY VS MAJESTA

I walked slowly up the stairs to the roof. Gosh this was going to really suck. Majesta is going to mop the floor with me. I needed to heed Ms.Pillars advice and make a plan. I stopped where I was and thought. I think I got it, a plan that might work. I closed my eyes and concentrated. After I was done I made my way up onto the roof. It was a large flat space with stone railings around the perimeter. I was at the end of the roof while Majesta was on the other with her halberd at her side.

She had her back turned to me as she leaned over the railing looking far out at the sea. It rained heavily atop if us as lightning ripped through the sky. Here we go, it was time to claim what was mines again. I took a step forward. Majesta just sighed, "hello Toby" she suddenly said. I stopped where I was. "You believe in balance right?" She asked. "Umm yeah sure" I said as I took another step closer. Majesta shook her head no "you don't seem to understand Toby, there will always be evil in the world and there will always be good. But there doesn't have to be balance, one can rule good or evil, and the one's who consider themselves good have ruled long enough" she then turned to face me. She had on the same armor on from the day she took the balancer from me. She was smiling at me "anyways are you ready to perish?" She asked. I tightened up my fist, I had no time to waste. I focused my mana into my legs and jumped forward like a bullet, I've seen Derek do this many times. I threw a punch concentrating on fire.

My fist shot on fire as I approached Majesta. My fist connected with her face with a BANG! As a large explosion of fire engulfed the roof top. I was unaffected by the flames since they were my own. I stepped back felling proud of myself. But when the smoke cleared Majesta stood there unaffected. "Impossible" I said shakingly, "what did you except boy, to kill me in one blow, even without the balancer that wouldn't have done anything" she said as she raised her hand towards my face. With a flick of her finger she slapped me in the face with her index finger.

The force of the strike sent me flying all the way back hitting the edge of the railing with my back. The wind was knocked out of me and I fell to my knees gasping for air. "I must say Toby you certainly have gotten stronger over time, a strike like that would've killed you" Majesta taunted. I struggled back up to my feet "I will not lose to the likes of you" I said. Majesta just chuckled "that's cute" she joked. Suddenly she appeared in front of me in a puff of black smoke.

She hit me with an uppercut so hard that the water around us moved back as I was sent up into the air. I flew up into the dark clouds tasting the blood in my mouth. "You think you can beat me?" Majesta said as she appeared in front of me in mid air. She smacked me across the face causing a few of my teeth to fly out. I flew back in the other direction. "You're not even worth my time!" Majesta yelled. Suddenly I was struck by a bolt of lightning in the back of my right shoulder. I screamed in pain as my body burned.

Majesta then appear in front of me and slammed her fist down onto the top of my head. There was a loud CRUNCH! As my body flew back down to the roof like a cannon. I hit the concrete crushing the floor under me. I coughed up blood. I tried to move my arm to push myself back up, but it didn't move. I looked and seen that my right arm was burned so bad it hardend. Dang it that's not good, suddenly a sharp pain ran through my body as Majesta landed onto my back crushing my spine.

"AHHH!" I hollered in agony, "whoops sorry about that I didn't focus on my landing" she joked as she stepped off of me. I couldn't feel my legs anymore, I'm completely paralyzed. I looked up at her gritting my teeth. Majesta smiled at me "now you will crawl like the bug you are Toby" she said. "At least I won't be as stupid as you" I taunted. Majesta smashed the end of her halberd on top of my head smashing my face into the wet ground. "Stupid? Watch your tone child".

I grabbed Majetsas leg with my working hand. "Got you" I said as my heart started to slow down and my vision went blurry. Majesta raised an eyebrow "got me?" She said confused. "Ice bomb" I whispered, suddenly there was a loud BOOM! As a large block of ice imploded from the stair case. The ice destroyed the whole left side of the tower causing rocks and debris to fall onto the people down below. The ice was about to hit us but Majesta raised her halberd to destroy it, as I predicted.

The moment she raised the weapon in front of her I used all the mana I had left and shot a bolt of electricity through my arm and into Majestas leg. "Ow" she said as she flinched a little. I quickly let go of her leg and grabbed the end of the halberd. Suddenly there was a flash of a bright white light shown from the balancer. My mana was restored to infinite and my injurys healed a little. The ice hit me and Majesta knocking us off of the tower and onto the battlefield. I held onto the balancer as I descended and hit the sand on the bottom with a THUMP!

"Oooof" I said as I fell onto my chest, "let go!" Majesta yelled as she quickly leaped back up to her feet and tugged onto the balancer. I held fast and didn't lose my grip. I got to my feet and pulled back "no you let go! This belongs to me!" I yelled back. As me and Majesta struggled the people around us backed away. Probably because the balancer didn't even look like a weapon anymore. It reforming constantly so it looked like an unstable bubble that would blow up at any second.

"Let go Toby so I may kill you!" Majesta spat. "Now I'm really not letting go" I yelled as I pulled back at her. Suddenly a knife flew from out of nowhere hitting Majesta in the hand. "Oww what the!?" Majesta screamed as she let go of the balancer to wrench the knife out of her hand. I leaped back with the balancer in hand. The balancer then settled on one form and returned back to its sword like state. My yellow armor and cape the appeared on me as Majestas armor disappeared and she was back in her dress again.

She looked at me with fury and anger in her eyes. "How?" She growled, I smiled looking back at my old weapon. "Before I went onto the roof to face you I used my magic to create an ice bomb in the stair case. It used up a lot of mana but did the trick". Majesta shook her head shaking in anger "I should've killed you right away!" She yelled. "Yeah if you've done that I'd be done for, luckily I know your weakness" I chuckled. "What weakness?" Majesta asked, I looked her in the eyes "you're childish, you wanted to play with my life before actually ending it, giving me time to get the drop on you" I explained.

I then raised my sword up in front of me. "Know that I will not make the same mistake". Majesta then leaped at me but it was to late. "Good riddance!" I screamed as I leaped back at her. Majesta threw a punch but I swung my sword cutting her arm off. Majesta stepped back looking shocked. I then swung at her again, then again, and again. I kept cutting her moving my sword at the speed of light.

I was going so fast not even my own eyes could keep up. Within the next second Majesta was sliced up into dust. It was over, Majesta was defeated. The rain had stopped and the dark clouds disappeared showing the sun for the first time in months. "Oh my goodness WE WON!!!" a soilder yelledm suddenly everyone started to cheer and celebrate. Even some of Majestas soilders joined. Without even thinking I put the sword up behind my back and into its scabbared. The armor on my body then disappeared as usual, hm guess the scabbared comes with the armor.

"Toby!" I heard a familiar voice yell from the crowd. Before I could look Sandra ran up and tackled me to the ground hugging me with all her strength. "Ow Sandra a little rough don't you think?" I joked. Sandra then kissed me on the lips. I pushed her off confused "whoa there Sandra, in front of all these people?" I asked. Sandra laughed, "Toby I've missed you" she said as she got off of me. Velro then pushed through the crowd and lifted me to my feet. He then threw me into a bear hug. "We did it, after so much time we finally won" he cried as he let go of me.

I smiled at him "Majesta will never hurt anyone ever again" I said. Derek then walked up to me. He was bleeding back blood from his head on the right side but other then that he seemed fine. "Hey Toby" he said as he approached me. "Derek" I said as I tired to reach in for a hug. But Derek backed away. I looked at him with a confused expression. "What's wrong?" I asked. Derek closed his eyes and looked at the ground for awhile before answering.

"I can't go home" he told me without making eye contact. My heart fell at the sound of his words. "Why not?" I asked, "because I don't feel free when I'm at the ministry. I need time to be alone, to think, so since Majestas out of the picture I'm going to make my own ministry and make my own rules. I've decided to gather a few soilders of my own and create my own army" he said. I raised an eyebrow in suspicion. Derek laughed "don't worry dude, we'll still be cool with each other, but I just want to be on my own for awhile" he said.

I nodded my head "okay but know if there's anything you ever need-" "I know where to find you" Derek said. I smiled and pulled Derek in for a hug. After I let him go he smiled to me "take care" he said as he turned and walked away disappearing into the crowd.
