(Your POV)
I was in a pretty bad mood after I woke up the next morning. Who can blame me? I mean, with what happened last night, I think I have the right to.
So, since I had no work to attend to and I was in no mood to use the money I got from my last article for buying anything, I just sulked for who knows how long watching a television program I honestly didn't care at all about.
Eventually, there was a knock on the door. I ignored it at first, but after ten straight minutes, it was really getting on my nerves. So, I threw the door open, finding the person I wanted to see the very least right now: Murdoc Niccals.
I was about to shut the door as quickly as I had opened it, but he grabbed the door before I could. "Hold on, I know you really hate me right now and probably want to stab my eyes out with a butter knife, but please, just listen." I rolled my eyes, annoyed with him already. "What the hell do you want?" I asked. He seemed relieved that I hadn't actually pulled out a butter knife yet.
"I want to explain what happened a little. First of all, I do need to apologise... I guess. I'm sorry. Hope you enjoyed that, it doesn't happen often." I sighed. "Your point?" "That I did something wrong and I want to fix that. I just want to say, I didn't mean for what happened to have happened." I glared at him. "That doesn't change the fact that it did." "I know that! Look, I just... I really feel bad for causing 2D to flip out at you. If you want, I'll help you explain it all to him. Just please forgive me?" I stared at Murdoc for a few moments. Was he seriously offering to help me? What exactly was he getting out of this? As he was talking, we made it fully inside my apartment. I sighed, considering his offer for a moment. "Fine... But on one condition." Before he could even ask what it was, I punched him in the face hard enough to knock him to the floor.
Slowly sitting up and holding his cheek, Murdoc said slowly, "yeah... Okay, I deserved that..." "Damn right you did."
After Murdoc recovered enough to... 'drive', we went to Kong Studios, and I was silently praying to whatever diety that could be out there that this would work. Honestly, the fact that I was putting my faith in Murdoc wasn't the most comforting thought. I mean, he did come off as an interesting person at first... Before last night...
We walked through the door, and I thought to myself, "don't even think about going back home. Just face Stuart and make him understand what happened." Honestly, my nerves were going crazy when Murdoc knocked on Stuart's door. A faint "go away!" came from the other side of the door. "C'mon, Faceache, I need to talk to you," Murdoc said in his usual annoyed tone. Stuart reluctantly opened the door, glaring at Murdoc. "What do yew want?" He looked past Murdoc and looked briefly shocked to see me before going back to glaring. "Look, we have to- don't you dare," Murdoc interrupted himself upon noticing that Stuart was about to close the door. "I just wanted to tell you that what happened wasn't (Y/N)'s fault at all. It was all me." Stuart stared at him for a moment, and I picked up the story, "I didn't stop him because I was just frozen. I didn't realize what was happening." Stuart now had a blank look on his face as I held my breath, awaiting his response. Come on, forgive me... Forgive us, even, eventually...
