Sorry I didn't update last night, I'm really busy and I'm actually volunteering right now but I snuck away to update really quick

Grayson POV

When I was out of the shower I went into my room to get dressed and I could hear everybody talking downstairs. My parents really seemed to like them. I put on some leggings and Jacks sweatshirt and tied my wet hair into a ponytail. I unplugged my phone from the charger by my bed and I went downstairs.

Jack heard me walking down the stairs and he met me at the bottom. He was smiling really big for some reason but I couldn't tell why.

"Why are you smiling like that"

"Because smiling is great"

"No for real jack, what's going on"

"Nothing"

"You're lying"

He took my hand and we walked into the kitchen. I heard someone walk up behind me and tap my shoulder. I turned around and it was Tiffani! I gasped and hugged her.

"I'm so glad you're here omg"

"I'm so happy your parents invited me!"

We laughed and talked for hours and I think that the boys were feeling a little left out since I didn't talk to them much. I introduced Tiffani to them and I saw her immediately look at Jack. I ignored it and walked away. I could still hear them

"Ooh who are you?"

"I'm Grayson's boyfriend"

"Awe too bad" She stuck her lip out and crossed her arms.

Did she think I couldn't hear her? Jack looked uncomfortable and he was shifting his body around.

"I'm really happy with Grayson, sorry" He walked over to me and kissed my cheek. She looked back and scoffed. She moved onto the next boy which happened to be Corbyn. She didn't get a chance to say anything because he said "nope. Don't try me. I've got a beautiful girlfriend already"

He walked away from her and she looked mad. I loved Tiffani but she was always trying to get whatever boy she could get. She raised her eyebrow and walked towards Jonah. He looked at her and turned around and walked away. Daniel walked away with him and that left Zach.

She sat down next to him and started talking. He didn't seem to mind which was surprising. He usually didn't talk to girls often but he was doing good.

I wanted to let them be happy but I didn't want her to break Zach's heart. Jonah had told me that the last girl he dated completely ruined him. It took Zach months to get over her. I didn't want that to happen again. Tiffani was just going to move on the next time she saw someone better.

I brushed it off and decided to mind my own business. Whatever happens is their business. I didn't want to get involved again. Tiffani always did what she wanted and there was usually no point in trying to stop her.

I went and talked to my parents who were cooking dinner. This had turned into a mini party and they were having to cook more food than they usually did. I asked if I could help with anything and my dad said yes. He asked me to chop up some vegetables. I washed my hands and grabbed the cutting board and vegetables. Jack was sitting on the couch on his phone and everybody else was doing their own thing.

I got the knife and began cutting. I got distracted and almost cut my hand. I started paying attention again because I didn't want to hurt myself but I got distracted again. Tiffani was talking to Jack again and she was getting really close.

I could feel myself getting angry because she had her hand on his thigh. He looked uncomfortable but he didn't do anything about it. He tried to move away once but then he didn't do anything when she scooted closer.

I huffed and brought the knife down on the carrot..only it wasn't the carrot. It was the side of my hand. I screamed out in pain and everybody looked at me. I started crying and my mom was freaking out.

"Oh my god Grayson"

"Sarah call 911"

My dad wrapped my hand in a rag while mom called 911 because it was really deep. There was blood all over the counter and my clothes and Jack ran over. I was crying and everybody was trying to calm me down.

"It's okay baby an ambulance is going to be here soon"

I sat down and tried to catch my breath. It was hard because I was still crying. I felt like my hand was falling off. The room started spinning and the last thing I heard before I blacked out was Jacks voice.

"It's okay baby I love you"
