Chapter 24

Heart's POV

It has been two weeks after the snatching incident and I lost contact with Jupiter. I didn't heard anything about him after that, a part of me is saying that it's pretty fair because I don't have anything to do with him. I crinkled my nose as I look at my self in the mirror.

"You don't have to worry about him you know?"

I told my self  as I let out a sigh. I'm home since I don't have any scheduled operation or check-up today, and since I'm home alone I called Neptune to join me for a movie marathon and I'm glad she's free today. I was tying my hair into a bun when I heard the doorbell, I excitedly rush downstairs as I open the door with a smile.

"I brought pizza."

She said as she raise the box of pizza in her hand. She's wearing a black loose sweatshirt and white shorts paired with sneakers.

We decided to watch Goblin since it's  trending. Nag-agawan pa kami ni Neptune kay Lee Dong Wook yung Grim Reaper. Hahaha!

"Ya! Akin si Lee Dong Wook sayo na si Gong Yoo!"

Sigaw ko  sabay tapon ko ng popcorn sa kanya hahaha!

"Oh sige sayo na si Dong Wook mylabs kasi single ka. Hahaha!"

Tiningnan ko sya nang masama as she look at me apologetically like being single is a crime then the both of us burst out in laughter. I lean my back on the couch as I look at her.

"I miss this."

She had a big bite on her pizza as she nod her head with a smile.

"I miss this too, it's been a long time."

Hindi na ako naka focus sa pinapanood namin dahil madami akong gustong itanong sa kanya. I twisted my position facing her.

"So how's Nathan as a boyfriend?"

Her nose crinkled as she smiled.

"He's very possessive, and I like it."

Natawa ako dun sa sinabi nya at sa sobrang kilig ko nahampas ko sya sa braso hahaha!

"Oh man I can't wait for you to get married hahaha!"

"It'll take time, we still need to settle things and have a stable job. How about you? Miss career minded. Tatanda ka atang dalaga  dahil sa trabaho mo, I wasn't even expecting you to go to a medical school."

She raise her eyebrows at me as she raise her feet and sat comfortably on the couch.

"Oh please men are pain in the ass, and if ever I am meant for a married life I'm sure love will find me, I just have to wait."

She laugh with amusement as she stares at me with disbelief. I know she wasn't expecting me to say that men are pain in the ass.

"Hahaha! Did you just said that men are pain in the ass? Oh I can't believe you're this bitter after your last break up that was like decades ago. Not all men are pain in the ass, Jupiter is such a sweetheart."

It's my time to crinkle my nose as I lean my head on the couch and let out a chuckle. 

"Ya ba't binubugaw mo ako kay Jupiter ha?"

"Because you're both lonely."

She stared at me for almost five seconds then let out a sigh.
