Chapter 5

The whole day I was so busy preparing for my J.S prom.

"Heart na contact mo na ba si Jenny?"

"Yes ma, papunta na daw sya dito."

Tumango si mama as she leave my room. Make up artist ko si Jenny. I look at the clock the time is 3:30 p.m. mamayang 6:00 ang start ng program namin. Tapos nagtext si Andrew na susunduin nya raw ako mamaya. Mas kinakabahan tuloy ako. Mga 3:50 dumating si Jenny, nagsimula na din syang mag make up sakin, the next thing is my hair, she made big curls at the end of my hair she also help me put on my gown and my stiletto. I look at the clock it's already 5:33 p.m. Imagine ganun katagal mag ayos ang babae!

"Oh I know you and I are smoke from distant fires but I haven't burned out yet,

I look at my phone and saw Neptune calling.

"Hello?"
"Hello heart! Kinakabahan ako! Para akong natatae!"
"Hahaha! Ako din! Wait video call kita."

I dialed Neptune's number and the moment we saw each other's face pareho kaming Napa woah. Hahaha!

"Hearty you're so pretty! "
"Ikaw din bakla ang gondo gondo moooo! Tulo laway si Nathan sayo mamaya!"
"At iiwan ni Andrew si Philia pag nakita ka nya! Mwahahaha!"

Para kaming mga baliw na tumatawa nang kunatok si mama sa pinto.

"Nak, nandito na boyfriend mo."
"Di ko yun boyfriend ma. Escort lang."
Nakita ko pang nag smirk si mama bago lumabas ng kwarto.

"Nandito na si Andrew."
"Nandito na din si Nathan."

Halatang pareho kaming kinakabahan.
"One, two, three laban Japan!"

I end the call and took a deep breath as I took my purse and went downstairs.

Naka upo sa sala si Andrew talking with my mom. Handsome as always, he's wearing a white tuxedo and he looks so perfect in it. I saw how he look at me and smiled. Sabay pa silang tumayo ni mama.

"Ang ganda ng baby girl koooo!"

Natawa ako kay mama.

"Sige na go na kayo baka ma traffic kayo sa daan! Ingatan mo tong baby girl ko Andrew ha?"

"Opo tita, alis na po kami."

"Sige! Enjoy your night!"

I hold Andrew's hand as he led me outside.

"You look stunning tonight."

Enebe kenekeleg eke. Hahaha!

"Tonight lang?"

I heard him chuckled as he open the car door for me.

"You're beautiful everyday."

Hindi ko napigilan yung feels ko nahampas ko sya sa braso hahaha!

"Ehee! Bolero! Hahaha!"

Natawa din sya. His laughter is music to my ears. I comfortably sit on the chair as we drive quietly to the venue. Di ko talaga mapigilang ngumiti sa tuwing naiimagine ko na isasayaw nya ako mamaya.

"We're here."

Napatingin ako sa labas ng binta. Oo nga nandito na nga kami and the place is definitely amazing! Super gandaaaa! Sa parking lot pa lang very magical na. May mga naka sabit kasi na Christmas lights sa puno like rain drops. The car door open and I saw his hand extending towards me.

I want to stop the time and to savor this moment. It is so perfect I don't want it to end. I felt the familiar feeling of delight as soon as I touch his hand. I went out of the car and cling my hand on his arm as we went inside the hall. I can't take my eyes off him. Grabe feeling ko magasawa kami ngayong gabi. Nung nakapasok na kami sa hall sinalubong kami ng mga friends ni Andrew. And that very moment shattered this beautiful dream of mine. Parang nakalimutan nyang kasama nya ako. I slowly remove my hand on his arm habang busy sya sa pag high five sa mga barkada nya. Inakbayan sya ng isa sa mga kaibigan nya and that's it, he was lost in the crowd.
