i was walking
earlier this morning,
trying to free and clear

emotional restraints,

when i saw a mint
haired boy, i thought
it was you.

so i chased after you,
i finally caught up
and wrapped you
in a tight embrace,

don't leave me again."

they pushed me
away and only then
did i realize it wasn't
you and it would
never be you. i said a
fast apology,

before walking away
in a daze. silly me
to think that was you.

when i knew
that you were
not here anymore..
