I heard the voice of a few doctors, some sounding familiar and others not ringing a bell. They were talking about putting me in a psychiatric ward whennI "woke up" from this truly miserable slumber.

But I was awake. I just couldn't move, open my eyes, or talk. I felt trapped in my own body, like I wasn't in control of it. There was no way in hell I'd be considered "psychotic," "mentally ill," and another word they referred to me as, "schizophrenic."

There's no way.
