Ch 30- A friend that wants more

Our first show last night was amazing, I can't believe that this is going to be my life for the next 2 months!!

I wake up before the boys and decide to shower first. Despite being on a bus, my shower was quite refreshing and a perfect start to my morning.

Our tour bus is huge!! If you are standing at the front of the bus facing the back, there is a long couch on the right side. This is a pull-out couch which is actually comfortable and really big. The boys normally sit on the couch and play videogames on the huge flatscreen tv that's on the left side on the wall. The kitchen and mini fridge are under the tv.

Continuing towards the back of the bus, past the couch are sets of "bunk beds" in 2 columns on each side. On the left is Jack above Daniel, Zach above me. Then on the right is Corbyn above Jonah, and an empty bunk above Shane. I am right across from Shane.

Then the bathroom is on the right. The stand up shower than has a "rainfall" shower head, which makes it 10 times better!!! At the very end is a lounge with a couch that rims the wall.

"Good morning sleepy head," I say as I open the little curtain that was secluding Zach from the rest of the bus. I kiss him on the cheek and I see his eyes slowly start to open.

My breakfast consists of a banana with a granola bar, better get used to this type of eating...bye bye bacon and egg omlets.

The morning is spent playing video games and reading fan mail from the night before.

"Aww this one is so cute!!" Daniel exclaims as he holds up a poster in the shape of a heart. It has pictures of the 5 boys on it and little messages about each one of them.

We all got bracelets that fans made for us out of string. Mine is black and white and matches Zach's.

Around 1pm I decide to take a nap and Zach joins me. We go back to the lounge and shut the door behind us. 

Corbyn's POV

As soon as Zach and Y/n leave the room, Shane immediately come and sits next to me.

"Hey bro what's up?" I ask.

"Can I tell you something?" he whispers.

"Um sure." I respond hesitantly.

"I like y/n, she's so easy to talk to and smoking hot." he runs his hand through his dark brown hair.

I almost choke on the chips I was eating. 

"Shane, she's dating Zach!!!" 

"...I know" he responds.

What is he trying to get at? "You can't tell her bro," I start. "They have been dating for 4 months and by the looks of it, they don't plan on breaking up anytime soon. She's off limits."

This managed to shut him up and hopefully he doesn't say anything to anyone else about this. 

About 2 hours later I see the back door open and Zach and Y/n walk out.

"How was your nappy-poo??" Jack asks in a baby voice, messing with them.

"Shut up" Zach pouts jokingly.

"Hey y/n, can I talk to you real quick?" I ask.

"Yeah of course" she walks back to the lounge. 

I hand Zach my controller, "Play for me, I'll be right back."

"What's up Corbyn?" she asks.

"Umm well, Shane may or may not have told me he likes you."

"What?? He knows I'm dating Zach!! Why would he tell you that?" she seems frantic as she searches for words to express her emotions.

"No clue why he would tell me that...but I told him to keep those feelings to himself. I hope he listens to me and doesn't do something stupid. Just thought I should give you a heads up."

"Ok please just don't mention it to Zach. I don't want him to get jealous or worried about me hanging out with Shane. I think of Shane as a good friend, and nothing more. Maybe he has mistaken my friendliness for flirting?"

"Don't worry, my lips are sealed!!" I say holding up my pointed finger to my lips.

"Thanks Corbyn, you're a good friend." y/n says as she gives me a quick hug before walking back out to the main part of the bus.

Later after we have eaten dinner and majority of us have gone to bed, I'm relaxing in my bed when I hear someone say my name.

"Corbyn!! Can I talk to you?" Zach whispers pointing to the lounge.

I nod and slowly climb out of my bed, so not to wake Jonah.

"What do you want to talk about bro?" I ask as Zach softly closes the door behind us.

"What's the vibe you're getting from Shane?" 

"I think he's chill...?"

"Sure yeah he's chill, but what I'm getting at is I think he likes y/n!!" 

"He isn't doing a very good job at hiding it, is he?" 

"So it's true?? I knew it." he says under his breath.

"He told me while you were taking a nap. I said not to mention anything about it because you guys are in a serious relationship."

"Thanks for telling me this Corbyn, you confirmed my theory. Night bro," Zach opens the door and climbs back into his bunk, leaving me in the lounge to wonder if I did the right thing by telling him Shane's thoughts.

A/N- just so you guys know, I normally write in y/n pov ...but in this case I needed to do Corbyn's but it probably won't happen again lol.
