It's Friday morning and I'm supposed to head over to the Herron house in an hour.
I had to set an alarm or else lord knows I wouldn't have woken up at 9am!!
I take a warm shower to help wake me up.
I throw my hair in a messy bun and put my favorite Victoria secret bikini on. I'm so sad that VS ended their bathing suit line :((
My bikini bottoms are black...of course, everything matches with black...and my top is a mint colored push up top.
I grab a change of clothes and a towel and head over next door.
I don't even bother to knock, I feel like family already.
Reese is in the living room dancing and singing to the latest Kids Bob album, she stops dancing and runs over to me and jumps in my arms.
"Hi Ressie-baby, are you ready for the lake today?!"
"YES I CANT WAIT TO GO SWIMMING AND GO TUBING AND WE CAN DO IT TOGETHER AND WE CAN EAT OUR LUNCH ON THE RAFT AND WE CAN EVEN DRIVE THE BOAT TOGETHER!!" she exclaims.
"Ok ok calm down..." I say laughing, "do you happen to know where Zach is?" I ask, hoping she won't think anything of this random yet not-so-random question.
"He's upstairs packing the sunscreen bag with mommy" she says.
I set Reese down and she continues to sing and dance as if nothing ever happened.
I walk upstairs and find Zach and Myta getting all of the sunscreen and towels together in a big bag.
Zach was shirtless wearing only his swim trunks and sunglasses on his head.
"Hey guys, do you need any help?" I ask as I give Zach the slightest smile.
"Hi y/n!! Actually it would be great if you could help Zach finish this up while I go downstairs and put all the food into the cooler." She replies.
I nod and Myta smiles and walks downstairs.
"Hey y/n, you look great in that bathing suit by the way." He says with a smirk.
"Right back atcha Zach..." I say flirtatiously.
We finish this task and walk downstairs.
We all pile into the car with Mr. Herron driving and Myta in the passengers seat; Ryan and Reese are in the middle seats, and Zach and I climb through to the back seats.
After about a 25 minute drive of us all singing our hearts out to the Why Don't We boys new EP, we finally arrive at the boat dock.
We all get out and find the boat that is stored in some sort of contraption that has 5 boats, at least, stacked one on top of another going very high up.
We get on the boat and luckily since its a Friday and most people have to work, the lake is completely empty!! We have It all to ourselves.
Mr. Herron inflates the tubes and Reese and Ryan go first. Boy does Mr. Herron drive this boat fast, Reese flies off within a minute or so!!
Next is Zach and I's turn. We jump off the boat and swim to the tube.
"Im so nervous, I haven't done this in ages. Ill probably fall of right away." I say to Zach.
"Don't worry y/n, I won't let that happen." He says winking at me.
Zach whistles and all of a sudden the boat takes off!!! I almost flew off but a hand caught me and kept me from slipping.
"See, I've got you I promise" says Zach.
We had a great run and then Zach and I decided to both let go at the same time and we fly off the tube and land in the water.
"Not too shabby y/n, seems like you're a pro for someone who has only tubed once in the life 6 years ago!!" Zach says excitedly.
"I mean, what can I say." I reply shrugging my shoulders and giggling.
We swim back to the boat and all eat lunch. Myta packed us all pb n j sandwiches, one of my favs, and grapes.
Myta and Mr. Herron decide they want to go hiking and the kids go with them.
"If you swim around that bend over there, theres this really nice trail and it leads to this cool turtle pond on the other side. The hike takes about an hour and a half but its totally worth it." Zach explains to me.
Zach and I decide to stay on the boat and tan while they go on their hike.
"So y/n, we have 90 whole minutes all to ourselves!!! What shall we do?" Zach says with a winking.
"Well we could always tan, swim, eat more grapes, listen to music, take pictures, oh and my personal fav...scroll on Instagram!!!" I say while laughing.
