August 2 1/2 years later...

"Next time we walk through these doors we will be married!" I exclaim as I lock the front door behind me.

I get in the car and Zach puts Emmy in her car seat. "Off we go, my girls," Zach says backing out of the driveway.

The car ride is spent singing songs as Emmy tries to sing along too.

...

"Alright, Miss Emmy! All done." Ally says running her hands through Emmy's dirty blonde freshly curled hair.

I take Emmy off my lap and put her down on the ground to play with some styrofoam blocks with Marley.

"Can you lean forward a little bit?" Christina laughs while trying to scoot closer to me in her chair. It's hard for Christina to maneuver around since she is 8 months pregnant.

Instead of hiring a makeup and hair stylist, why not just have my friends do it. Christina was ecstatic to do this for me when I asked about 7 months ago, we hadn't quite realized she would be this pregnant on my wedding day!

There is a moment of silence when everyone is focused on something and I find myself staring at my engagement ring, it's so beautiful I can't help myself.

The moment is interrupted when Emmy bursts into tears because she wants the block that Marley has.

"Oh it's ok Emmy doesn't cry, you can have this one!" Reese sits down on the ground next to her and begins building with the blocks.

Reese has been a complete life saver these past few days. Since she is 10 years old now, Reese could keep her distracted while Zach and I were busy with the wedding planning for today.

After Christina finished with my makeup and my hair was curled, I finally slip into my dress. I chose a wedding dress that was classy and elegant. Being a mom, I'm not going to be skimpy and wear a dress with a ton of cleavage, keeping it classy!!

"It's time...I can't believe my best friend is getting married!!" Ally exclaims. She scoops up Emmy causing her to whine a little bit.

"Woah, feel that. Carter is doing summersaults." Christina takes my right hand and places it on her stomach.

"He must be just as excited as I am!" I say smiling. I remember having moments like that with Emmy.

Everyone says a quick goodbye and goes to the wooden area downstairs that is separated by 2 huge doors from the rest of the guests and the altar, leaving just my mom and me in the room.

My mom walks closer to me taking both my hands in hers. "I am so beyond proud of you. Everything you have accomplished at such a young age. You have your entire life planned out! You get to do what you love with your soulmate every day, do you realize how many people twice your age are still struggling to find a job they half enjoy doing? Through our ups and downs, I'm so glad we came back together and fixed our relationship. I will forever be proud of you, I love you" She wipes a tear from her cheek.
