2.5 years later...
I am about to turn 19 in a few days. Here's what has happened with our lives:
Zach and I moved into our own house in LA near the WDW house. We live in the same newly developed neighborhood with Corbyn & Christina and Daniel & Ally. (Christina moved from NY to live with Corbyn)
Why Don't We is still making music and is more popular than ever. They just finished their first world tour.
My music career has taken off since my first song. I've had 2 hit singles on the radio and just finished an album.
Jack and Jonah still live in the WDW house. They are dating Jess and Mary, but neither of them are ready to settle down yet since they are in college.
We hang out at the WDW house majority of the time. The boys still write their songs on the same couch that they wrote their songs on almost 3 years ago!!
Things have changed, but we are still one big family making music and doing what we love.
June 17th...
I wake up to a soft kiss on my forehead.
"Happy 19th birthday my love," Zach says in a gentle raspy voice.
A slight smile finds it way onto my lips. "Thank you," I say sitting up in bed.
I yawn and rub my eyes as an attempt to wake up.
Zach and I take a shower before he takes me out to breakfast. We get acai bowls, my favorite!!
As per usual, we go over to the WDW house to spend the day there.
Like I've said before...I don't like to make much of my birthdays, so I said that I wanted to have a relaxed day and go out to dinner with everyone at night as the "celebration".
Shortly after Zach and I got to the house, Ally and Daniel come over too.
"Happy birthday y/n!!!!" Ally embraces me in a big hug.
"Thanks, A!! Love you" I respond.
Corbyn and Christina join us at the house a few hours later, they brought Brandy.
Brandy is their new puppy, she's a 4-month-old mini golden doodle.
Brandy comes running right over and hops up on the couch next to me.
"Hi Brandy!!" I exclaim as I'm showered with puppy kisses.
Christina and Corbyn both give me hugs and wish me a happy birthday.
I get a facetime call from my mom. I get to talk to her and my little half-sister, Marley, who is now almost 2 years old.
I then call my dad to thank him for the birthday gift I received in the mail yesterday.
We brought our swim suits so that all 8 of us could enjoy this hot summer day in the pool.
Ally, Christina, and I lounge around the pool going back and forth between tanning and cooling off in the water.
The boys play water basketball and try to perfect a trick shot where they toss the ball to another person as they leap into the pool.
Around 4:30 we part ways and head home to clean up before my birthday dinner at 7:00.
I curl my hair and do my makeup before slipping into my maroon dress. It goes to my mid-thigh and the straps cross in front. I pair it with gold jewelry and black stiletto high heels.
We have reservations at Ocean Prime, we all love this restaurant.
Once we arrive, valet parks our car and we walk in to see our friends sitting in the waiting section.
