The honeymoon was amazing. We went snorkeling in the beautiful clear water of Bora Bora.
I had never seen so many gorgeous fish and sea life ever before. Me, being the person who is obsessed with aquariums, absolutely loved that part of the trip.
We had a great time, 11 days felt like no time at all but at the same time, it felt like we had been away from our baby for forever. Zach and I were extremely glad to be back with our Emmy.
4 months later...
Emmy is now a little over 2 years old. She will be starting preschool in September. It's crazy how fast she is growing up, I miss my little sweet newborn baby.
Christina and Corbyn had their first child, Carter Ray Besson, a few days after we got back from our honeymoon.
Ally and I were right by her side through the whole thing!
Oh and while we are on the topic of babies...
We found out that there will be a new addition to the Herron family!!
I'm 4 months pregnant and it's a boy!
We will be able to take the perfect symmetrical family picture with one boy and one girl...even though we want one or two more children :)
...
Today we headed over to Christina and Corbyn's house to have a late lunch together.
Since Zach and I have experience, we thought that it would be nice to share our tips on getting a baby to sleep when all you can do is pray.
"We are so sleep deprived and don't even know what to do anymore. He just won't sleep at night. He naps like an angel in the baby swing but at night as soon as I put him in the cosleeper he just doesn't want to go to bed." Christina explains.
"Have you tried just letting him cluster feed as he falls asleep? Emmy had the same issue when she turned 4 months old but letting her nurse to sleep really helped." I suggest.
"We haven't actually tried that. But if he's sleeping then how do I burp him and make sure he doesn't choke?"
"Well since he sleeps in your bed most of the time, and moms have ears like an owl, I doubt he would even make a sniffle without you waking up and noticing it," I respond.
Zach laughs a little before chiming in. "We were in the same position you guys are in, extremely cautious and worried about every little thing. Don't worry, babies are tough and way back in history those babies survived and they didn't even have the Dock-A-Tot!" He jokes acting shocked.
The 4 of us enjoy lunch, share baby stories, and answer any and all questions that they had about raising a child. After that, we headed back home to give Emmy a bath and go to bed early.
Tomorrow Zach, the boys, and I are going to perform on KTLA, the largest news station in Southern California.
We decided to let Emmy sleep in our bed tonight. I put on a movie that she could watch as she fell asleep.
Emmy was in between Zach and I, leaning her head on my pillow. I stroke her hair as she struggled to keep her big brown eyes open. But naturally, within 5 minutes, she was knocked out.
"She's out," I whisper smiling down at her.
I lean my head down on the pillow next to Emmy.
Zach slides his hand over Emmy and on my belly to feel baby boy kick. He seems to wake up just as we are trying to go to sleep, he's such a night owl.
I remember feeling such an incredible love for a baby who's face I've never even seen when Emmy was in my stomach. Having a little buddy going everywhere with you for 9 months is crazy, but I missed it.
Zach rubs his hand back and forth as the baby kicks and moves around.
Moments like this make everything worth it. All the judgment and struggles we've gone through in the past, so minuscule compared to the cloud 9 I am living on now.
The simple days in this life that I'm blessed enough to live, are actually quite exciting. Being with friends all the time and enjoying what you get paid to do is the ultimate dream, in my opinion.
Through thick and thin, the bad and the good, the hard situations and the easy ones...we have been by each other's side.
We were never your average boyfriend and girlfriend. The stereotypical fighting teenage couple was masked by the simplicity of our love. He knows I love him, and I know he loves me.
At the end of the day, he is my person, he is my match, my other half, my everything.
I met Zachary Herron when I was 15. We fell in love and moved to LA when I was 16 1/2. We bought a house together at age 18, and shortly after that, we had a baby at 19 years old. Then we got married at 21.
What a life.
Zach, Emmy, baby boy and I have made our own little family and we couldn't be happier.
A/N- Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for taking the time to read this story and follow its journey. This was the first story I had ever written and published. The overwhelming amount of support was shocking. You guys fell in love with this story and became as passionate about it as I was.
You guys made this book so successful and I owe this all to you!!
...
Important info:
There will not be a sequel. Since school is starting back up, I wouldn't have any time to write one...plus it's hard to write an entire story based on people who are 16-19 years old but would be 21-24 years old in the story ya know.
I was thinking about doing one-shots because I don't want this book to feel like it has completely ended. Something that has made me this happy just ending would be really sad.
Also, I was wondering if you guys wanted me to publish the outline. I've had an outline for each ch. and I find it quite interesting to look back and see what I had planned out for each ch. since sometimes the writing portrays it differently which I kinda like!! Let me know in the comments if that's something you guys are interested in.

This book has given my summer a purpose and I feel accomplished right now looking at what I have done, what WE have done.
You guys followed this story and would read every chapter when I published it, this book was a small tiny part of your summer too!
Once again, I love you guys more than you know and I feel like I know some of you, I recognize your accounts when I see you commenting!!
Shoutout to those people who have commented and voted on every chapter...I know who you are ;)

Avery
