Pieces

There are pieces all around,
I see them as I look around.
Jagged little pieces,
Bent, dented and fractured,
But it's my heart you've captured,
How and why you did it,
I won't ever know,
I won't let you go

I cant help falling,
I'll blame it on gravity.
Cuz my hearts full of cavities
Monstrous holes,
Decaying pieces,
Some people try,
But it eventually ceases
What do you want?
Or do you mean it?
Am I really yours?
Or were you mine all along?

Maybe I'll never know,
But right now I'll turn the page,
It's all new, without any age.

Simple, beautiful,
But oh so complex,
Here I am,
My wings they flex,
Now we're off,
Our feet high above the clouds
