Rain

Got caught in the rain when I was looking for you,
Now it drips from the clouds, falling onto my roof.
Now I'm searching your eyes,
Tell me what is the truth?
Free falling, free falling,
Ten thousand feet,
At top speed,
Right into your arms,
Tell me can you catch me?
I'm losing my faith,
But my hearts falling fast,
Tell me dear, do you think we'll last?

I shiver in cold,
The rain the turns to snow,
Oh my love, why did you go?
I'm caught in the rain when I was looking for you,
But now it's  all undone,
Frozen hard on my roof.
You sang me a song,
I danced to its beat,
But now I'm standing alone,
The rythum rings in my head,
Stuck on repeat.
I stumbled and fell,
No longer in love,
now I don't want you back,
But when push comes to shove,
Do I mean what I say?
Am I telling the truth?
Can't really tell you,
What even is truth?
Good bye to the sun,
And welcome the rain,
At least now I feel,
And no longer in pain.
