Maybe I was born to fall apart,
Maybe I was born with a broken heart
I keep fighting for my world,
Clenching it tight in my hands,
But look at all the pieces,
They crumble from my hands
I can hear the sound they make,
When they clatter to the ground,
It follows me around,
Like an echo in my head,
Replaying as I lay in bed
Tell me how do I say goodbye?
When I didn't know you were leaving
I used to fight with you,
But it's you I'm needing.
It's you I want right now,
While my hearts bleeding
I don't have a lot to say at all right now,
I'm losing faith,
I'm falling down
But you catch me,
In your arms,
They hug me,
Keep me safe,
Keep me warm
Maybe I was born to fall apart
Maybe I was born with a broken heartBut Jesus as I watch your arms wrap around me,
I remember, I was lost,
Until you found me.
I don't fight it now that you've got meYou catch every tear I've ever cried,
And collect them in a jar,
Sometimes I think you're far away,
But you never are.
You're with me always,
With me always.
You're with me always,
With me always.
